After my 2019 visit I had planned and booked my second trip back to Japan for 2020 but we all know what happened. Highly recommend checking out Minoh Park next time you are in Osaka! Its not too far out and its a really nice walk with cool sights all throughout and a waterfall at the end

I spent 3 months in Osaka and can't wait to go back. My girlfriend and I were some of the first visitors to enter the country after the lockdown, arriving just the second day that the borders had opened again. Because of this we were able to enjoy a lot of Osaka and Kyoto without the regular swarm of people, although towards the end of our stay it felt like it was returning in full swing to its normal volume of visitors. We had hoped to bounce around the country a bit, but we ended up spending the whole time in the same guesthouse in Osaka and out of more than a year of traveling around SE Asia, it was the best experience we'd had. Can't wait to go back and I hope you and everyone else here are able to spend more time in this great city.
