4 Days Wet Wild Camping And Exploring Snowdonia National Park!

Hello legends !!
Join me this week as I head to Snowdonia national park in Wales to climb Snowdon the Crib goch route…. Two wild camp in the woods and a wild camp next to a beautiful lake.
I really fancied a change of scenery this week and the send of fresh adventure was overcoming me at work so I decided short notice to head over to Wales for a few days.
I had an amazing time there … the scenery is beautiful… a new mountain, lake, woods and amazing nature around every corner.
I met up with my friend Grant who I’ve only known for a couple of months and met him through this very channel at the first ranch camp.
We saw lots of mushrooms and spent a lot of time exploring Wales in the rain.
When i go out for a few days without a plan and basically wing it … it just gives me the biggest feeling of freedom and im always at my happiest when im out camping in nature…
If you haven’t tried it… i would highly recommend giving wild camping a go to promote positive mental health… it works for me !!

A year ago I was layed up on a camp bed in my garage with covid watching your vids, I was inspired to get out and camp this summer. It didn't happen. I scouted woodland nearby, all private. I asked for permission, denied. I asked friends to come, no thanks. Drove all the way to the lake district. Bottled it. Back home feeling a bit defeated. Next year perhaps.

Just on the outside of Capel Curig Craig. The Outdoor pursuit Centre is Plas Y Brenin which also includes a dry ski slope. The Woods are part of the Gwydyr Forest. The hill is Moel Siabod and the twin lakes are Llynau Mymbyr. You have hit the epi centre of my youth, good on you. Brew recommendation North Brewery Songbird found in big Sainsburys!
