@lllDJTuxlll ok so i just got the ns7 yesterday & used it with the v7 using vdj 7 4 deck mode. i was able to map the v7 to use as a 3rd deck. the start time is my volume control as its input onto the ns7 aux input. so far it works ,though cpu is a lil high but doesnt cause any problems. other than that its great for mashup set.

@II00Garnier00II @DJPersausion31 ok so i tried a few things the best thing so far seems to using the v7s as just a controller, using the DDM4000 as a midi mixer (mapped basiclly everthing so you cant even tell) and the behringer sound card as the only out put.

@ThugRandles its a ASUS 73 gaming laptop. Its a i7 core 8g of memory. that is all i got on the top of my head right now. not at it right now. The numark v7s are encoders that spin. so its a fancy jog-wheel. but it required alot of cpu use-age. i have not messed with time code but in one crappy turntable. it worked. but the turntable is so crappy i dont use it. i just got an Kontrol S4 and its nice. but i like the feel of the v7s better because it feels and acts like vinyl.

hey man!! nice video but i have a question; if you have four sound cards in 2 v7`s, why you need the behringer sound card???? have you tried with ASIO driver??... thank's for this tutorial, it`s pretty good.... greetings... XD

@lllDJTuxlll well the way i see it is 1 v7 output through channel 1 & 2 on a 4 channel mixer (i.e pioneer 800 or behringer 4000) while the other v7 is linked to the first one, as for the ns7 output through channel 3 & 4. Then midi back to VDJ. It could work though i have yet to get another v7 & ns7 to try this out or if someone else tries it...cheers.

@j0hnFX Probably a bit late but I've never used the behringer and am only about 95% happy with the X5. Numark didn't make a case to match the V7s that will fit it so it gets wrapped in a towel and boxed till I build a case. It is an odd size, not that Id'e use it but it does not support the remote start for the V7's. Being they chose to pair the X5 and V7s you would think it would be a complete match. Aside from that though, great sound, very sturdy, great feel, looks real nice.

@DjJumpFreak if you mean midi map it out. You cant. Itch doesnt, from what i understand, support the ability to midi out to anything besides whats sold with itch in it. i kinda am upset by this myself.

Hey man, just curious about your specs- what's the laptop packing? My laptop died, and so I bought a refurbished one on the cheap, and it kinda sucks. Yours looks like it handles everything really well, and I'm just wondering if my laptop is struggling at decoding the timecode, and going to midi controllers would help (I'm planning on making the move anyway).

Wouldn't you be able to map the Deck Select switch on each deck to be A/C and B/D rather than using the start and stop time?

How do you get those decks? It's hard to mix musics without DJ System just only using Virtual DJ with 2 Decks

The Mixer is Midi. Why use the external controller?
