Parallel out clock divider using CMOS binary counter IC TC4040BP.
By slightly increasing the value of the limiting resistor, the protection circuit is removed, contributing to cost reduction.

Note: The 2SC1815 transistor can be replaced with a more commonly available 2N3904

Nice! This should be the same chip as the CD4040 right?

Functions are the same as CD4040. Since overvoltage and negative voltage tolerance varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, an IC from a reliable manufacturer is recommended.

Seems it just cut from a bigger perf board. You can cut it easily.
