Hi Gurjot, I think you have a few options. For one you can simply apply for Express Entry; your chance of success depends on your age, English abilities, education, and relations in Canada. The second is to seek to obtain a work permit with a Canadian employer in the field. Best thing is to contact employers directly. And thirdly you can consider direct programs like the SINP. Hi Mara, thanks for the info. The SINP has lowered its cut off score in recent months so you have a chance. 60 is just the bare minimum and you should aim to at least boost this score by a few points. Can you try perhaps improving your language score and get the full 20 points in the SINP point system,? Other than that, if you do get selected by the province, then no you do not have to live there, though your application is based on the fact that you intend to live in Saskatchewan

Thanks for the info. So in a sense, we need to have a active profile in the express entry pool before we apply for any PNP?. I thought PNP was separate. What if someone doesnt have 1 year of work experience to have a active profile in EE, but studied in a school in Canada got 6 months of work experience and applied for Alberta opportunity stream. So if they get an invitation, they wont be able to proceed with PR? because they dont have a EE profile?
@canadianize2239
@canadianize2239 Жыл бұрын
That is not entirely correct. There are some PNPs that require direct applications (seperate from the EE process) while others can be applied to via the EE portal. The more interesting ones are the seperate programs, since they involve a smaller pool of applicants. For instance the SK PNP program we discussed in this video requires a seperate application, so do some of Manitoba's and Atlantic Canada's PNPs

Thanks for the note Parmeet. I think you should concentrate on upgrading your education by doing an LLM in Canada. In the meantime, you can put your application in the express entry process and hope that the base PNPS (that are aligned with the express entry process) nominate you. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me and I will schedule you a consult with one of our staff. Mary L (info@canadianizelaw.com)

Hi I am from India. I am currently enrolled in the Express Entry program and have a score of 364. Professionally, I fall under the NOC 21110 category, working as a biological scientist. My work specifically lies in the field of clinical trials in the medical research industry. I bring with me 8 years of experience in this field along with a master’s degree. I have a few questions and would appreciate your guidance on them: Which Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) would be most suitable for my profile? Is it possible for me to apply to Ontario and Alberta’s PNPs from India without a job offer? If so, could you guide me on how to go about this? Can I apply for more than one PNP simultaneously? Lastly, I’ve heard that the chances of securing a job in Canada from India are extremely slim, nearly 0.0001%. Is this statistic accurate? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Hi Chippy, please consider applying to the Express Entry process, since you have enough years of experience, a Master degree, and are younger than 30. In terms of direct PNPs, the SINP disallows teachers from applying, so if you want to apply to that one, you will have to a different type of experience. For instance, what kind of job did you have before teaching? If you want more detailed info, please message us at info@canadianizelaw.com and attach your Resume

It depends on your NOC codes, since the draws every month are based on NOC codes being selected, and not just on scores. Note that 60 is a bare minimum. You should try to raise your average, which can most easily be done by getting a 8CLB in the language score of the SINP Points System

thanks for the summary, and the feedback. 62 qualifies for the SINP but it is too low to realistically obtain a invitation to apply for a nomination. It would obviously make sense for you to upgrade your IELTS score, that would be the quickest way to boost your score. Also computer science is in an in-demand occupation in many provinces. Namaste Rahul. It sounds like you have good experience. You should go for both. Definitely submit an express entry application. And also consider PNPs for tech talent, in BC, Ontario, and Alberta, as they all introduced programs for tech workkers, depending on your experience. Another option you should consider is a student permit in a post grad certificate relating to your work. You can complete that in a local college, cost of tuition is 12-14 000 CAD, and then you would qualify for a Work Permit after you graduate. Please email us your CV if you have questions and we can hopefully guide you further: info@canadianizelaw.com
