I use salted butter because I like the taste of salted butter in cakes.

I made this cake today. Initially was a bit hesitant as the cake wasnt baking as per the instructions given, then towards the end it baked well. Soft and a little dense but thats fine because of the amount of butter used. Definitely worth a try

In every other cake recipe, bakers advice not to use whisk for mixing flour but a spatula to fold it in. I hate to follow rules but seems like baking doesn't work that way until I saw this video. Need to try it.

You can use whisk for mixing flour but in gently way and do not force whisking it cause it will destroy the volume of the batter.
