Great distance shoots, but the "Air" you see could be also out of the intestine or the stomach, you could check it if the "air" smells like sh!7 - and don't forget you hit two with one, look at the exit wound - is it at the ribcage you hit the lung, if not you maybe didn't. The Broadhead closed maybe, as it got pulled out of the second pig, and thats why it didn't died much earlier after the lungshot. The first one died faster because of the wiggling and the open broadhead - the second maybe didn't had a clean lungshot and not the wiggling damage. In the end, if you explain something about your shot, the explaination about how hard it is to hit with an arrow over greater distances was great, but in the "the shot hit the pig (...)" at this part i would wish to see the exit wound aswell, if there is one - and here has one to be (2 with 1) - just for the explaination it hink it would be great. @4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what you’re saying here. The first hog died because of the hard quartering away angle. I did hit lungs on the exit. Thanks for watching!

Intact, there are so many mountain lion on Vancouver island, they creep into the city following the coastline from up island and the millions of rabbits. A woman was jogging with head phones in after dark when she felt something slam into her from behind. It was a 90 lb juvenile she managed to squirm away from, albeit stitches... this happened 200 yards from where I work on the corner of cook street and Dallas road (coastal road), city of 350 thousand.

I'm noticing in the comments who us bow hunters are. All our comments are posted super early in the morning, like ahem.. mine.. nice would have been best Xmas present ever to hunt some hogs. We just have sitka blacktail deer here on Vancouver island. Here in the city, you can walk almost right up to them. Not so much outside city where there are more mountain lions per square km than anywhere on earth. Not good I know but walking home from work, I have hand fed a wild deer a piece of bread. It would be so easy to kill them here in the city of Victoria.

@4BOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
HighLightYourLyfe I have over 250 videos on KZbin. Most of which are hog hunting. I’d say it’s a pretty good ratio that about 3-5 times out of 200 are the only times I haven’t recovered hogs. Thanks for watching, but it has nothing to do with “ethical” shots or me spending more time on the range. I shoot more arrows and kill more animals with a bow every year than 99% of the population. Maybe just try wrapping your mind around how tough hogs are and understand that there are going to be times when they are unrecovered. Especially with as many as I kill.

@andyflossy27746 жыл бұрын
4B Bowhunting Outdoors , O yes, but that doesn't mean I kill them just to kill them. We call it ethics!!!
@4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Andy Flossy In Texas, you kill them just to kill them. When they’re destroying cattle ranches and ruining fields to the point that they are no longer plantable, you kill every single one of them that you can. We do it as ethically as we can, of course, but it doesn’t always work out that way. If they run off and die and after the shot, ill go looking. If I don’t find them, I’ll come back and look again the next day. If I still don’t find them, that’s okay because there are a million hogs running around (literally) and the buzzards and coyotes have to eat too.
@treym3225 жыл бұрын
Andy Flossy exactly what I was thinking!! I’ve watched 3 videos published by this dude and every one of them has at least one hog or animal being left in the field to rot. All bc of this guys dumb ass shot placement.
@treym3225 жыл бұрын
4B Outdoors you sir are the worst bow hunter ever. You constantly take shots that leave animals suffering and laying in the field to rot. You’re so unethical. Never should you take a shot that is not a clear shot for the successful harvest of ONE animal. While yes I do agree the hogs are a nuisance. However I don’t agree that they should be shot to be shot and wasted. If you aren’t that pressed about recovering them and actually USING them then don’t shoot them. If you want them dead then offer services for people to come harvest them that WILL use them and put them to good use instead of coyotes bait. And then the fact that you brag about shooting numerous animals with one shot and not recovering them is just a pathetic thing to do. You aren’t a hunter. You sir are a KILLER! You give the rest of the bow hunting community a bad name for posting dumb ass videos like this. You are the kind of person that gives PETA and other animals rights activists reasons to fight against the hunting community in hopes of knocking out all hunting. Learn some ethics. Learn some respect for nature. Quit taking stupid ass shots and learn to shoot ONE animal with ONE arrow that way you can also learn some actual thought and feeling for the quick humane and non suffering shots of animals that will actually give a successful harvest. GROW THE FUCK UP! You’re not man you’re a fucking kid. You’re not a hunter you’re a fucking killer. It’s people like you that gives the rest of us a bad name. You’re pathetic and I hope your bow limbs explode causing an arrow to penetrate you and injure yourself in such a way that you can never bow hunt again so that you can eventually suffer and see just what it feels like just as theses animals are feeling their pain and suffering. Smh. Non ethical piece of shit.
@martinguillamont52954 жыл бұрын
where is this
@cannadi6 жыл бұрын
We know hunting is to manage and try to control the natural circle of life. The most recent scientific evidence suggests that in around 50 years we have decreased wildlife population down to 4%. Of course we could blaim in a certain way the amount of land used for animal agriculture, which is a high ecologic footprint indeed, we must take into consideration even though it might seem like there are lots o wild animals in some areas, the facts point out that if nature is not kept healthy we will no longer thrive. The key word which we speak of is biomass. Since we have taken all this land away from wildlife, on top of that hunting the large closely spaced population of wild animals is not going to bennefit us in the long run. Just because we needed meat through our past to survive it doesnt mean its still suitable for us. It has also been proven the more we move into a whole-food plantbased diet our natural habitats will raise. We obviously dont eat animals for health benefits, we eat them because we like how they tase. We must take into consideration the only good source of cholesterol is the one your own body procudes. All animal products have cholesterol within them so it is automatically a negative source of nutrition since heart disease is the primary cause of death in north america. All protein is made by plants so we can get our essential aminoacids to thrive this way. Thank you for your time reading this contraversial point. If god created the earth, humans and its animals, this means god is the earth, humans and its animals. Therefore if we kill humans, its animals, or the earth, we are murdering god. Wildlife control studies are funded by the ones who allow it to even begin with. Studies which do not take sides are important for proper research. Again thank you for your time and this long message. It is just something to take into consideration. Good day

Also don't feed me a line about how the arrow angled into the lungs cause if you look at the exit hole and entry that arrow never even makes it in front of the diaphram
@4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Luke Kaufmann well considering how I never show you the exit, don’t feed me a line about how you must know everything there is to know about this particular hunt lol. Would you like to explain the bubbly lung blood coming from the backside too? The only thing that really matters is that the hog ran 50 yards and fell over dead in seconds lol.
@lukekaufmann73026 жыл бұрын
Okay I'll give you that, you hit the femeral artery, I've done it myself on whitetail. It is an effective shot but I watched the video back multiple times and it doesn't look at all like you got anywhere near the lungs but I'm not exclusively worried about that. Dead pig good job. What happened to the other two piglets you shot, why would you advertise hitting four pigs and only finding 2 of them. Sorry I went all Peta on you... Kinda unnecessary
@4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Luke Kaufmann the first piglet ran 15 yards and fell over dead. The second one ran off with my arrow and I tracked it. I also mentioned hitting the femoral artery. As you could tell by the angle of the arrow when I walked up on the hog, the arrow was in the direction of the lungs. It is very possible that in the process of this hog flopping around and dying that the arrow was pushed up into its diaphragm. My feelings aren’t hurt, thank you for the apology! Any dead feral hog is a good one!

Dude I wouldn't call you a hunter at all and it has to be embarrassing on your part to go out and leave those piglets after you shoot them. You are a terrible example for all the non hunters and hunters alike. You go out and brag up the four pigs you can hit with two shot but if your hunting even if it's an invasive species causing problems you owe it to the animal to make a good shot and at least put forth effort to find it. Also grow a pair bud it's 48°
@4BOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Luke Kaufmann false assumptions much? Lol I didn’t leave the piglets in the field, don’t be ignorant. By the way, by the time the night was over it was about 25 degrees. Go piss on someone else’s video because you’re being laughed at over here.
@user-maxim_796 жыл бұрын
Bad shot. You clearly shouldn't be taking those far shots yet!
@4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Theodore lol I obviously recovered the Sow and piglet. Did you watch the entire video and especially the slow motion of the first shot? I made a perfect shot on the sow and she jumped forward on the shot. There’s nothing I can do about that and it’s part of hunting. Maybe you should educate yourself a little bit before leaving ignorant comments.
@user-maxim_796 жыл бұрын
4B Bowhunting Outdoors it's called if a shot is out of your range then you don't take a bad shot you're not capable of making. So, maybe you should practice more and not take bad shots. Just because you recovered the animal, doesn't make it a ethical humane shot on the animal.
@4BOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Theodore lol this shot wasn’t even close to being out of range for me. If you payed attention to the slow motion replay, the hog heard the arrow coming and jumped forward. That very rarely happens with hogs but I still hit the femoral artery and watched this hog run into the woods and fall over dead in less than 30 seconds. It was a very humane kill and shot. You’re pretty ignorant to say “just because you found the animal doesn’t mean it was a quick and humane kill.” Obviously if I filmed the sow going down, which I did, you would know that recovering an animal in less than 80-100 yards means that it was killed quickly and humanely. Again, get educated, please.

4B Bowhunting Outdoors insaw the hog walking around with an arrow in it's back side. Shot was out of your range! If it was, you would have aimed more forward. The "hog" barley jump the arrow. But hey that's your excuse. Bad shot bad aim!

Theodore it was perfect aim and a perfect shot. The hog didn’t just barely jump, it jumped a whole two foot lol. If you payed any attention at all, you would see the arrow perfectly in flight for its lungs and heart until the hog jumps forward. Again, if you were paying attention you would notice that the hog fell over IN SIGHT. 😂 lastly, again, if you were paying attention, you would see that not only did I take out its guts, I also took out its lungs and managed to hit its femoral artery. All three are vital and necessary for survival which resulted in a hog dead in sight in less than a minute. So... how was that a bad shot out of my range? 😂 you’re ignorant and clueless. The only thing out of range here is your argument which makes no sense and is really making yourself look stupid considering the evidence of the video. 😂 LOL

This young guy must be trying out for a radio announcers or TV reporters position. 10% content, and 200% waffle talk. I'm off to find a real hunting video before l fall asleep fully........

Glenn Koch lol thank goodness you’re leaving. You can’t know what’s going on if I don’t give context. Also, there’s this thing called the skip button.... Lastly, if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing all. Save yourself a whole bunch of time and just go ahead and use the back button. :)

@@4BOutdoors Same applies to you matey, if your got nothing to show, then don't use filler crap, it's not productive to you, and it just peeves potential lookers/ sub's off. If l had nothing to say then how would you know what people thought of your video's. I love hunting, and l can watch many a time, but your's was bloody awful to just listen to. What is required is a blocking button, so viewers can never see the video's that don't do justice to the segments. have a great day

Glenn Koch Glenn Koch last I check this is my channel and I can post whatever I want to post hahaha. Once again, hardly ever do I get someone that doesn’t like my videos, so if you like to complain, just know that you’re of a very small group of individuals. That’s not boasting or being cocky, that’s being truthful. I keep up with my analytics daily, btw. :) If you don’t like it, go watch something else. You’re not hurting my feelings any at all and if this video was a so “bloody awful” then why does it have over 50k views? Next time, let’s see you make a hunting video and post it to your channel so I can see how entertaining, educational, and relatable it is. Have a good day lol.

Jay Winters thank goodness, I’m not sure what I would’ve done had you watched all the way through. Here’s an idea.... use the skip button...
