@@mrsdewdrop9678 I actually had the same question. I love the ultra matte finish on the walls but I was worried about the baseboard. The walls are not areas that will be touched too often once the furniture and decor are in place, but furniture will scratch against the baseboards and the area around the doorknob will be dirtied by hands over time. Maybe this particular paint cleans up easily?

The room maker over is stunning! The wall paint and contrasting black trim made it so serene! I hope to try the three strands of yarn together to make a throw! Amazing how just a repetitive row of single crochets give it so much depth of texture! Would love to see the other end table that you were emulating! Love the way this one came out! Outstanding explanation of crochet & I love your dogs but what really caught my eye was fabric on canvas. My mom was a seamstress and her mother was a quilter so naturally I love fabrics but with my career I don’t use them. They sit in boxes. Most of it isn’t upholstery so it won’t add texture like your examples do. However I think I probably have a good enough eye that I could mix designs into a gallery wall or just make the entire gallery of fabrics. Much faster than piecing a quilt.

I just love watching your channel! Your creativity is boundless. The reason people are requesting that you show us more videos on finger crocheting is because you are great at taking the time to show each step in detail on how to do it. I have tried learning from other KZbinrs and have yet to have found someone who is as good as you are at explaining. You also have a way at making it look easy. I unfortunately bought the wrong kind of yarn. I don’t know what I was thinking when I ordered it because I usually order from your Amazon list. I never thought of using fabric to cover large canvasses. I have 3 very large ones and I am definitely going to hit Fabricland to see what I can get to use on them. What an amazing idea!! Question, if I want to use these large canvasses in my stairwell that has a very large landing do I have to use the same colour scheme that I already have on my window seat in that space? I realize I could use different patterns on each of the canvasses but do I have to stick to the same colour palette for all 3 of them? I would appreciate your thoughts on that. I love the blanket. Hi Mar! Great concept idea! For the 3 no you don’t need the same pattern but try to get them to have a slight continuity in all 3. For your seat take a picture to find fabrics with similar color hues/tone that you can for the canvas prints. I hope this helps!!! 🙏🎨❤️

Wall plates questions: I want to paint mine the same color as the walls because I like the subtlety it creates but I’m going to paint myself this time elm Have do ever tried to use the same latex wall paint on the switch plates? If so, would it adhere alright and not scratch? Have you found out that the the spray paint and primer you’ve used gets scratched? thanks for helping me out!

Hi Connie! I have painted the plates with wall paint and it works I have not an issue. Some designers say to hide your wall plates so you are spot on! 🎨🙏❤️

I just love all your tutorials. I'm getting ready to do some decorating in my shabby shiek bedroom. I painted my highboy and a small nightstand a light grey and white. It just looks blah to me. I was wondering if you have any suggestions to make that pieces pop more. I plan on getting some other pieces to add but I've had trouble moving forward because of the two blah pieces if that makes at sense
