Good morning Christina, the room makeover is gorgeous! The wood panels/boards you used makes the room so warm and cosy looking. The recycled metal pieces look stunning after the cleaning up. That was a lot of work but so worth it. I so love quality calendars, the paper prints are so beautiful and the quality of the picture is so good that they can be used for picture framing, the great way to recycle as well. I bought some 'sale' calendars a while ago, they are such good quality that you can frame them for projects or use them as framed gifts to friends and family to use on certain spaces in their homes. At times when visiting the stranger can see how a blank space can be used, but I do not mentioned anything, maybe at a later stage. We can furnish our homes with lovely items which will not break the bank, it is just a matter of imagination and a bit of work. I love when we can do a project without having to buy special tools to complete. As always it is a pleasure to watch the videos and you are a great inspiration to many viewers. Thank you for sharing and showing and the instructions are easy to follow to those who wish to try something new. Have a great Sunday, enjoy and we will see you in the next one. Many blessings and kind regards. Oh my parents had beds with metal frames and the springs were attached to a wooden board. I so longed for those type of furniture pieces. Your mom might remember those. They were made so well and sturdy. So many items of by-gone times which was just absolutely fabulous. You have patience of Job to be able to throughtly handwash that bed frame. The only thing I would have done is hose it down and be done with it. This makeover is a little different than your others in the past, by being more along the lines of farmhouse or country. I enjoyed watching you transform the old pcs of furniture, give them new life. I am good at outside, gardening and rearranging inside, adding decorative touches, however have not really tried a full pc of furniture restoration. I have a brass bed, that has been with me for more than 40 yrs, it’s a high gloss, polished look, but it now has some pitting and frankly I am looking to give it new face. Would love to hear from anyone who has somehow refinished shiny brass. I am sure there are lots of really crafty people here. Thank you in advance.
