An 89 one, but automatic, same exact trim and everything in great shape for $1200 with 164k come up, I regret not getting it. Needed a top. Nice plaid interior. But I am really happy with the 2000 Cabrio I bought.

Honestly this doesn’t look too bad. For the loose stick shift, you most likely just need new bushings, they’re cheap and easy to replace. I’ll admit that the heating system looks like a big mess! Mine is a 82 (uses cables not vacuum) and it was stuck on heat for many years before I finally fixed it. I just adjusted the heat by cracking open the window or taking the top off during the summer. 😂

Yeah it’s not that bad. There’s a lot more issues found after putting it on the lift that need to be addressed.

The previous owner has had it for 17 years and it was resprayed before then. I think it might of had rust around the window but was fixed before they painted it

Who in the hell would do that to the heat and vacuum? 😂 When I picked up mine last year, clutch was smoked and was on/off, the clutch cable was frayed and the adjuster was broken. Shift linkage was busted but I somehow found gears - I still need to replace the shift rod bushing that is blocked by the exhaust (because the bushing isn’t there). When I installed a big brake kit with a bigger master cylinder, removing the existing master cylinder was the final straw for the brake booster and the internals basically disintegrated. That ended my fun for most of the summer Now I replaced a screaming fuel pump with one that leaks, so waiting on another new one to come in, and have to replace the fuel pump relay as well. Good times all around but eventually I’ll have the Cabriolet hotrod of my dreams! Where you guys located?

@@Barndubs Already got it on the streets (had to replace the in-tank pump as well) and I friggin love this thing! Looking to do my suspension and a full cat-less exhaust (all of which is on a shelf in the basement). I'm in RI, so not too far away
