I was maybe 8 years old and stole a candy bar/ a 10 cent hersheys. The owner caught me and called my dad. Dad showed up and slapped a dime down on the counter, and ate it on the way home. We got home, and I heard his belt come out of the loops and in short order, I was able to heat my own bath water. I'm 65 years old and have never stole anything else in my life. Hell my dad has been gone 20 years, but I can still hear that belt coming through those loops.

😂😂😂 i remember those days. We would be wrestling me and my brothers late at night. Dad was always hollering go to bed. I can still remember hearing his pants jingle. He always kept stuff in his pockets and wore like slack pants. His pocket knife and stuff. When you heard those pants jingling your butt was busted. Lol. 😂😂😂😂 Those old timers weren't no joke. If we wvwr stole anything. He made us tske it back and boy you wished you hadn't have picked it up.

I hope with all the flooding with the hurricane hitting the Application Mtn. range as hard as it did your well. Things are slowly getting back to normal here in east TN. Thank you very much for the videos to keep me entertained when I get home since I can't get out and fish due to work. I greatly appreciate the high-quality, great videos and all you do and go through to make them.

I totally agree with what you're saying right now. I do fishing for all species. I go with the seasons of what fish are in season. Trout season is coming up here in Nov. Back in the day it was all about power bait, then the mouse tail, then it was grubs, I don't even know what they'll be hitting on this year when they start planting trout. It's just like any other fish and its a guessing game on what bait any fish is going to hit. I've even purchased the bait stalker fly and haven't had any luck with it yet. Not all baits work in all states.

Hey bud, i wanted to ask you on your thoughts with the reel that you use on the golly whopper rods. Like, do you ever feel like you want to switch them out and use something different/new? They appear to be really good by watching your videos. I nearly bought one for my golly whopper, but i decided against it because i was unsure if it came with the line counter or not. (I didnt want that on my reel). So i went with the abu garcia ambassador catfish 7000. I guess having your opinion on it would determine if i bought one whenever i get me another golly whopper rod.
@KayakCatfish2 ай бұрын
The Shimano Tekota that I currently use is my favorite of all the reels I have tried. I like the low profile and that they have 38” of line retrieval per handle turn. There are two models, one with line counter and one without. The only drawback of using that reel with the golly whopper rods is that the feet on the reel are kinda small. You really have to crank down on the rod’s reel seat or use a shim to keep the reel from shifting in the reel seat. The clicker isn’t very loud either so keep that in mind if you plan to use that feature of the reel.
@codeman8042 ай бұрын
@KayakCatfish even though i do like the ait clicker feature, i do hardly ever use it.... i really do appreciate the info on that reel. I really do like the design of it a lot!

@@KayakCatfish we used to catch them at the base of the water falls in the fresh water rivers! They'd gather by the hundreds in pockets of rocks! I want to say it was obviously their breeding time which you can Google when that is but I promise you won't be disappointed if you can find them and they're free live bait! 1. You've obviously hit a homerun with the girlfriend - bidet & GI Joe. 2. No men go to spas - they're lying when they say they do, or when they don't give you a hard time. We were raised well and we know you are too far gone. It's OK to give a normal person a hard time when they do something stupid, but it's wrong to mock someone who can't help it.
