Use bluegill instead of pearch. Cut them into three equal pieces and throw away the tail. Don't use as big of a piece. Shallow filet one side of bluegill down tonthentail and cut tail off for drift fishing. Family have been guides on this lake for over 25 yrs. Youre welcome

Just curious I see were no one uses the tail for bait. I have used it and caught lots of big cats.! I only cut my blue gill in half. Head on one pole tail on the other. Just wanted to see why no one likes the tail .!?
