I used a mid range price peel and stick tile on our camper remodel and it worked great. I made sure the walls were very clean and I put a few drops of super glue on all the corners and they have stayed on perfectly! I also did a peel and stick vinyl flooring. It started to come up when it got hot in the camper. I pulled them all up, put some construction adhesive on them, put them back down, and they have stayed in place! I live in Mi, where we have hot summers and cold winters.

I used the stick on tile like you, but primed the wall with contact cement first and let that dry. I live in Colorado so we have similar weather. Nothing has come loose. Down side was you had to position it right the first time. Took a little more time to make sure the tiles were plumb

It’s all about prep. Too many diy’ers do no prep and then wonder why things don’t work.

💯. I have had them in my camper for 2 years also with no peeling and I'm in Utah as well. I just used bulls eye 123 primer

I can tell you that I saw the waves on the front of your newer trailer. Take it from one who bought the same kind of trailer = FIX the front and back of your newer trailer if the outside has waves before it becomes a big problem. The glue is coming undone, and it can cause big problems if left unfixed. GOOD luck on the camping. WE LOVE CAMPING.

Just searched “restoring campers” to get some guidance and. Your video popped up first, I love seeing people move onto bigger better things so I loved seeing you guys move onto a bigger camper congratulations!!

I’ve heard the peel and stick tiles can pull away from the walks but extra adhesive as you’re allowing them does the trick to prevent this. We did this in a pop up and the tiles were thicker and heavier to look like stone. They have baked in that little camper to over 100 degrees and froze in less than 25 below. They’re perfect! We recently upgraded too, to a 5th wheel! We’re in the process of our cosmetic remodel. I subscribed for number one reason as I’ll love to watch your process! Number two-I just love anything camping with families! Good luck!

I am inheriting an old 2006 26ft pull RV so will be following. Thanks for the tips and the comments below.

That’s exactly what happened to me . Ended up with a 2006 rv. Started looking at instagram rv remodels and just started ripping stuff out without knowing anything about rvs. I didn’t even know how the electrical works 😂 now 3 years later I’m going back to learn how the rv even works. I made so many renovation mistakes. Thank goodness for KZbin .

I used tile and stick on back of kitchen area worked great been up for two years now you need to remove whatever was on your walls for it to adhere to them. Also sprayed gorilla spray glue on top of the sticky glue the peel and stick has worked fine has not come off and I live in NV where temperatures are like Utah Also my floor did have that issue, but you should take off the Formica flooring you have then you just get down to wood. I put my flooring the wrong way that is why it is lifting in areas. but overall, it's fine. I will change this eventually.

I'm not the brightest bulb in the room, however, I would love to see your finished van project! I need to do one to live in full-time because of the high rents in California! Thank you so much and I am really enjoying your videos! I don't know whether it's a blessing or a curse to have a husband who can do everything! 🤣💕

5:16 It looks like your fiberglass TT has delamination/bubbles on the front drivers side....which means leaks from above. I hope not for you. Will you address that in your next video? Good tips for the Vintage TT. I have used the stick on tiles for the walls, live in Utah, and have not had a problem. The stick on wallpaper, however, did not work.

Never use ANYTHING STICK ON in a trailer. And don't use hot glue either. Ya know why? It gets very hot in a trailer and all that stuff will melt and fall off or peel up. By the way you did EVERYTHING completely wrong and backwards. You have no idea what you are doing and should not be telling others what to do.
