Hi Jesse, if you see this me and my friends were thinking about renovating a trailer for a fun summer project before our last year of college. What would you say we should avoid the most in renovation

what paint did you use? how do you get nice edges from tape ? I always get some bleed thru tape edge causing rough lines/edges.
@TheDarthReagan14 күн бұрын
Do you need a special kind of drill bit for this?
@jonmurphy546914 күн бұрын
Very nice, I hope you dont paint inside the trailer. So many paint over the great woods inside.

One of the best tips i have ever gotten when rolling on paint - paint the base colour, place the tape, REAPPLY THE BASE COLOUR, then apply the new colour. Reapplying the base colour stops bleeding and makes a PERFECTLY STRAIGHT line!

Seems that you would have an issue with the slab moving and changing the top surface. Has that been an issue and how would you address that?

I'm curious if there was a reason you did not set in anchoring threading during the concrete pour. Do you feel like the red heads are equally adequate or was it more of a just wanted to make sure the measurements were right for the structure?

Really good simple build thank you. Any thoughts on usig an electric plane instead of router? With thanks Mark

Hello , I think by using that angle iron it makes the router sled way too heavy and its looks too rough when making fine expensive furniture . Furniture quality pine or pine sanded down I think is the way I have to do it , because I have a bad back and diabet neuropathy on my legs , I suffer every day in chronic pain light woodworking helps me to get my mind off the pain and into my happy place , the smell of napalm in the morning is nice , but fresh cut wood is way better , have a quality day and keep cutting .

I am rebuilding my Rv from the top to the bottom and I am using all real material so I won’t have to worry about anything.
@HARDROADFITNESSPODCASTАй бұрын
When you are welding especially in a shop take the time to position yourself and the material so you can be comfortable and can stable your arms for a more consistent weld then don't wobble your arms to create your bead keep the movement in your whip wrist and that will help a lot too

I built mine with warehouse racks and Rep parts and came out awesome! I paid more for the delivery than what I paid for the actual rack! $120 for racks and $140 for delivery 😂

Never use ANYTHING STICK ON in a trailer. And don't use hot glue either. Ya know why? It gets very hot in a trailer and all that stuff will melt and fall off or peel up. By the way you did EVERYTHING completely wrong and backwards. You have no idea what you are doing and should not be telling others what to do.

@mistyhatter5360Ай бұрын
I think a lot was half way done. The ceiling looks awful. There are so many better alternatives, but if you like it that's all that matters.

You should always drill the undersized hole first

"All you need is a drill and a circular saw" ....And a fence snip, a tape measure, a space or post hole digger. lol. and more.

Funny, i watched a different video where they used wood, and i said, self, you can build this stronger. Picked up the angle iron.....then i had to go back to work. Maybe in a few months ill be able to finish the project and enjoy its results...😂😂
