@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL4 күн бұрын
It was absolutely perfect for both situations. If I could go back in time, I would have still used the lowering kit but I would not have went with wider a-arms. I could never get the alignment perfect and it was a bit too wide for most trails.

How do those aluminum lowering links hold up in the front? I hear you're not supposed to jump with them have you heard or seen any of them crack before?
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
Mine have held up great but I also don't know anybody else that has them except for flip. I don't believe flip has had any issues either. I will say I have had issues with stability while at high speeds on the pavement ever since I've installed them. It's simply due to my caster and camber which I could probably sort out, but I think I'm going to go with a different setup.

Go hard brother keep strong. im a big bloke 130kg 6foot 1 the raptor is perfect. i Enduro my raptor take where its not meant to i follow bikes. both bikes have their purposes. 450 track 700 offroad. 450s just cnt survive in narrow areas where the 700s can i dnt like the wide foot wells as i use the rears to go around corners that are that tight . i just find it easier throw raptor over logs with its torque . id never enduro an utility quad to heavy and unforgiving. SIDEWAYS FULLSEND

Nice Raptor,m… Question for you. I am about to add +2 A Arms to my Raptor but with long travel shocks. If I wanted to lower it even more do you think I could use those links? Also, do you feel the links can handle jumps the same way it could before you put them in. I don’t do high crazy jumps but sometimes I catch air. Wouldn’t want to have the link snap on the landing
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't know if it would work with long travel shocks. I would think that due to the long travel shocks it would increase the angle of the shocks even more which would help with clearance so it may work. Worst case scenario you buy a set on Amazon open the package nicely take a link and see if it'll work and if it doesn't put it back in the package seal it up well and return it. As far as the jumps, I would be comfortable with jumping small to medium jumps but nothing with huge air. After riding it for a while on the trails and hitting some really big potholes and roots I've discovered that the links are pretty durable.

Would there be any exceptions for spacers in the front, I’m getting 2 inch each for the back and wanting to know if it’s even worth getting a wider front

Yes you don't want spacers in the front because it'll put extra pressure on them which will cause the bearing to prematurely wear out.

I f you really think about it, they both can do the job, but the 450 will always out preform a 700 because of the power delivery and how quick it is, yes on the high end the raptor will pull away in a average drag race, dunes race

Does the rear lowering link make the swingarm longer?
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't specifically make the swing arm longer but because the swing arm is more horizontal due to the lowering stance it does kick your wheels out just a little bit further.

How’s it hitting the trails with the lowering links ?
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL3 жыл бұрын
That's actually a very good question and perhaps I should make a video covering it all but it did stiffen up the front a little bit more than I would like but I'm going to try to compensate for that by dampening the shocks up front I just haven't got to it yet.
