It is absolutely insane how much of a difference the Big 3 made! Yeah my wife laughed at that moment too 😂😂 Now that you say it I'm going to buy new tires which should add to the circumference thus gearing it higher and I'm going to add a 15 tooth sprocket and then I'll see if I can breach 85 mph 😁😁😁 If I could hit 90 mph that would be amazing! 🤘 What do you think it'll hit with new tires and a bigger sprocket?

Yeah it punched out 45 horsepower bone stock with approximately 150 hours on the engine. I was absolutely overwhelmed with excitement when the big three punched out an additional 15 horsepower!!! 🤘🦾🦾

I had basically that same exhaust. Made it extremely loud but so fast and I never had my tuner set properly. Was glowing the pipe at idle. And was the easiest install ever putting out around 60 hp . I weigh 280 and I could take off in third and pack the tires through 4th.

Hell yea man, i have all my parts in except my exhaust, it comes in friday. Mine is tuned right now, i habe a stage 3 hot cam goin in, fci intake goin in and monster full exhaust shorty goin in. As of now with stock bike and tune only it does 82 and has tapped 83 mph. I put a 15t fromt sprocket and only got me 1 mph lol. Hopefully see close to 90 with the setup. The only performance modifications I've made to this quad is the big 3. I also suspect that since my original tires are nearly bald that when I purchase new tires here soon the larger diameter tire will make it hit 85 plus 🤞🤞

If all you plan to do is the big three then the monster EFI is just as good as the PC5. It's only when you plan to mod beyond the big three that you'll need the PC5 and the Monster EFI will no longer work. So you'll just have to think about it. Is it worth spending the extra money now if you plan to eventually move up to more mods? And yes they come premapped if you speak with Paul at Monster ATV products let him know you want it pre-mapped for the big three and it'll come with nearly a perfect tune.

Why is the dyno done in 4th gear when stock and 3rd gear when tuned? Count the gear changes on the dyno.

I noticed that too. Using 4th gear on the dyno the engine increases rpm more slowly, with this you can see what is happening in the engine and correct some parameters with more time. But using 3rd will still give you accurate horsepower as the dyno calibrates this automatically, it just causes a more compressed dyno graph. But that was an interesting observation.

The next bike I ad to my collection is definitely going to be a 700 I kinda regret buying a yfz 450 instead of a 700 the power band on a 450 is too peaky for me

You will not regret it! The 700 feels as if it has endless power throughout the entire power curve unlike the 450 being on the top only like you mentioned.

@@05cateye96 they are taller and they are more top-heavy than a 450 but if you take the 450 out of the equation, you'll never notice the Raptor being top heavy.

There is no baffle so just play with the throttle, on and off.

You will probably run to lean if you add the exhaust without a fuel controller However if you don't do anything to the intake then perhaps it may not lean you out too much but I would still check your air to fuel ratio on a dyno after installing the exhaust.

Duals definitely look sick on a Raptor but personally I absolutely love Monster exhaust system! Loud exhaust I've ever heard and the cans look really great! If I didn't go with Monster then I'd probably go with Rossier.

If I were in my last gear on my quad going at a fast speed, how would I go about it to make a rapid stop if the situation were to occur? Would I have to pull in the clutch and shift down as fast as possible or is there a better way of doing it ? Also thank you for the help on teaching me how to ride !

All you would simply need to do is disengage the clutch by pulling in the clutch lever and then applying your brakes rapidly and as you're slowing down you can start shifting down to first gear or you can wait until you're at a stop and then shift down through the gears. It really doesn't matter which way you go about it.

You shouldn’t pull in the clutch you should use engine breaking and the brakes

I personally like the twenties. The ground clearance is not all that much but I love how much easier it is to powerslide and do donuts with the twenties.

Bro I got a question I just picked up a Raptor 350 and it has a oil leak around the oil filter but it’s not burning it off the stick what part could that be

If you're not noticing it going down on the dipstick then it means it's a very very minor leak. I would just check your oil before every ride and during the ride to be sure that you're not losing oil any faster than normal.
