“When you talk about how hard something is it means you’re not grateful for it” girl fuck yes. 👏🏼 I’m 6 months pregnant and if I ever have anything negative to say about my experience so far, people like jump on me like “well this is a blessing” “you should be so happy some women can’t get pregnant” it’s really crazy how people push that at others. People can be grateful for a situation they are in and at the same time be upset, disappointed, emotional, stressed, whatever the feeling is. Those feelings hold value too and when people say stuff like that it makes you feel abnormal and that’s not the case at all. You’re entitled to those just as much as the positive feelings. Thank you for saying that it made me feel understood❤️

I finally went to the doctor last week to start medicine 10 months postpartum so I can be the best me I can be. I put it off for so long. Thank you for sharing and being transparent! Also I started excusaucers/activity tables once head control was good and steady! Between 4-5 months

For the jumper it was always suggested to me that as long as they had strong head control that they would be okay in it. So if you feel like he would benefit, and he has that neck strength, I would say give him a try.

You can absolutely “complain” and still be grateful! I am 35 weeks pregnant and it has been very difficult. It’s hot outside. Im exhausted. Im done. I am SO excited to be a mom and so grateful for this baby but it sucks, there is no denying the struggle. I hope the solidarity gives you a little comfort. You’re doing the best you can and that is awesome!

If you had a “typical” job you would be on maternity leave still, in Ireland anyhow, so don’t give yourself a hard time over vlogs, just do what you need to do to look after yourself and your family ❤️

I'm a old mama mine are all grown so now I'm keep 4 every day so their parents can work and not have strangers with the kids. I put them all in the things to sit or jump not by age but good head control. Just start out just like we do with all things with babies a little at a time so they don't get sore muscles. He is so cute.

Thank you so much for being so brutally vulnerable and honest about your health anxiety. That was super brave. Know that you are not alone, a lot of us moms feel the exact same way. I personally have had health anxiety for just about all of my life I think. I can’t really measure when it ever started but it’s always been there and every once in a while it rears its ugly head. I’m sure this is completely normal, especially if you are a mom. Stay strong and keep fighting against it. We absolutely love your vlogs and are so happy that you are on an upswing regarding this. Health anxiety is definitely a roller coaster ride for sure.

I absolutely enjoyed this vlog Lauren...I'm glad you're so open and honest as always...I struggled with postpartum anxiety and major sleep deprivation for almost a year postpartum because my son didnt sleep well until after he was a year old. I didn't even realize how severe my struggle was until I was out of it...I felt so alone because no one was openly talking about such things at that time...I know these chats are helpful. You're an amazing & beautiful woman!!! The Brazee bunch rocks!!! Ev is the cutest baby boy and the chats with his daddy are priceless.

You absolutely have the right to say what your going through is hard and just because something is hard doesn’t mean your not grateful, the struggle is real just life in general can be hard and if you want to get on here and talk about how hard something or heck even complain this is your channel and your prerogative and no one should judge you for that. Trust me girl the PMS struggle is real I go through all the feeling extremely once a Month and I could imagine PMS’ing on top of what you’re going through so just know there is a community surrounding you especially when the times get tough ❤️

Feeding him a little bit of cereal at 4 months could help him. Not just for sleeping but if he's going through big bottles pretty often then he's needing something more. My last two kids were like this. My oldest son was fine with a bottle for the longest time & didn't want cereal or most baby foods lol. You've just gotta find what works for yall. I hope you figure it all out & get through this phase soon. Hugs!

Babies are HARD. I am too a sleeper and don’t do good with interrupted sleep. Some nights both of my kids would wake up, it was so so hard. Hang on for the ride, don’t be hard on yourself and go with the flow! Like you said, once you figure it out, it changes again lol. Do what feels good for your family and you. On the sleepless nights I always told myself “it’s a phase, it’s only a phase. You can do this” love your Channel!!

Lack of sleep causes anxiety and lots of problems .My baby wouldn’t sleep unless I was holding him.I became broken after a year.My healthcare worker told me baby’s need to learn to fall asleep without you.put them to bed and walk out.then only enter the room for a dream nappy change if they cry don’t go in. My husband basically had to told the door to stop me going in and I stayed awake all night watching the monitor. But it took 2 nights for him to learn to put himself back to sleep. He was such a happier baby. It really works but it’s the hardest thing to do. It also worked on my second child. So I know it works but not everybody will agree it’s a good thing to do. For me it was the last straw I wasn’t coping.

If you’re Going to be using one eventually I say give it a shot and see how he does with it. Maybe he’ll tire himself out! 😂 ❤️ from Pa!!!

Thank you for your honesty ❤️ I’m pregnant with my second and postpartum always makes me more nervous then birthing the baby!! We put our daughter in the bouncer that they lay back in and can kick- probably 4 months. She enjoyed looking at the toys that hung in front of her. Eventually she figured out out to kick her foot to bounce. I didn’t do a jumper til there was head control.

As soon as I was confident in his head strength and he could do tummy time for at least 15 minutes. My son was just before 4 months when we moved to California from Ohio. This kept his up and moving and active while I fixed a home out of shambles. Highly recommend because I think it really helped eisen with core strength needed for crawling (he has hernia like a little old man)

I put my son in tha jumper when he was 4 months old. At first he didnt really jump to much but about 2 weeks into him being in there he started to realize thts wat its for. I think if you think hes ready go for it. Every child is different in size and strength at this age but he seems big enough and strong enuff for a jumper. I would deffinelty try it. It will probably make him more tired for naps and bedtime too. Btw he is so freaking ADORABLE i cant. Im 6 months pregnant with my 2nd boy rn and its been 8 years since iv had my 1st. He makes me want this bby out rn even tho im soo nervous cause its been a while. But you gave me such motivation to kno tht i got this. Your a great mom. 👍😍

Hi Lauren, you are a great mom, you are doing a great job. Usually when they can sit with or without pillows around him he should be good in a stationary saucer. The Johnny jump up has too many negatives from professionals. When you do decide on a walker, don't leave him in for very long, it can affect him learning to walk because they push their chest forward and it causes problems in the end.

First let me say you look beautiful today as always. I put my baby in saucer / walker at 4 months. Maybe need blankets to prop up. Also has the pedi said anything about him needing to eat so often ? 8 Oz every 2 hrs is a lot. And maybe his discomfort is he’s over full. Causing gas pain. He is such a beautiful boy and so sad to know he hurts. Never feel bad voicing your feelings. You are awesome parents and no one can ever question that. Praying for you girl. Love you ❤️.

This sounds strange, maybe, but when it comes to worst-case scenario anxiety (I may not be here for my kids, etc), I actually get through this by literally imagining this could happen. It’s an exercise in my mind creating different scenarios of how things would work out…..because I wouldn’t want my family to quit, right? And the best gift you can give them is hope and encouragement to “keep going.” No matter what life serves-up. And then as I imagine these scenarios, I get peace! Things happen every moment of every day to families. And allowing it to rob us of joy and peace is the unfortunate part. That worry “energy” can be redirected, in theory. But this exercise helps me in droves. And yes, right now our kids are adult and independent. Next up, our elderly parents and how their end of life will go. I use this same imagery to help me sort through many different ways it may happen and how we all continue afterwards. I see my peers losing their folks weekly…..They are in their late 80s, as are mine. So the constant change is a lifetime challenge. Do we ever just “coast?” I wish. Hang in there, I hope you can find rest and peace (maybe the latter happens first?). You’ve got this!

Hey Lauren, maybe check with your chiropractor about Ev and an exersaucer. I think the concerns surround posture, stability of the neck and spine etc. They’re life changing for sure! A great help for mama’s and dada’s sanity. I found that the next older child was so interested when the exersaucer reappeared for the little sib, so them playing with it on the outside also helped to entertain the baby on the inside! It WILL be okay. It’s okay to express how you feel. Normalizing the hard is helpful to others. It also makes us appreciate the great stuff!

If he’s holding himself up and not going to fall forward and bang his head go for it. We sometimes would pack a blankets around the body to prop them up. You’re there watching so long as he’s not unsupervised… you’re the momma. Make the decision and screw what works for other people.

As long as he has great neck control he’s able to go in the excersaucer but Make sure his little feet touch to floor so his legs don’t dangle and fall asleep. Momma here to 5 and have cares for many other full time for over 25 years.

Your doing a great job. What about a bouncer seat he can move it toys in front of him? A baby exersaucer he needs head control. Do you think he is teething why he not sleeping? My son starting teeth at three months and doctor noticed it before I did he wasn't sleeping.

My daughter was a water at night maybe skip or shorten his last nap ? Also best advise my dr gave me and this was baby number 4😂 was babies naturally wake In Cycles but if they are tired they will go back to sleep within 20 minutes. So I started waiting it out and now she sleeps and even if she woke up she went back to sleep on her own. I also try to not get her screaming because then they associate bed with negative I try to be super happy when I get him!
