Them hard no cap🔥💯 I been debating on if I wanted to start with two strands, instant lock method, or comb.. I’ve had two strands before and I used to do em on my own before I cut my hair.. But seein this and just how my hair flowed and stayed in its style like yours when I had mine when my hair gets back to a good length I’m definitely letting my lock up from the two strand method.. How often should I wash with this method and do the first retwist?

The first time I waited a month then I washed every two weeks. I retwist every month. The two strand pattern goes away pretty quickly, I can hardly even see mine anymore. So it’s really just about whether you prefer coils or twists to start your locs🙂

Thanks so much! I washed mine after 4 weeks but I’ve heard of people washing them even sooner and it was fine. The water definitely helps them lock up and mature!

I started my locs with. 2 strand twist. Now 9 months out, the most fuzzy part is the 2 strand part and since I have different textures of hair, some more soft than other, this softer is more fuzzy and doesn't like to cooperate. How do I fix the fuzzy 2 strand portion?

I'm not sure you can "fix" fuzziness, but you can smooth it out by wrapping loose hair around the loc.

If you want skinny locs you have to make your starter locs thinner than what you want them to look like. Because they'll get bigger no matter what method you use.

Yes I’ve done them once, it’s not too tight. If you want to increase your lock size you can leave in the twists until it locks

Hi everyone, please I need advice from u guys, I am about to start my loss and I am thinking of going into permanent locs, please how or what should I start with ? Interlocks?

I guess permanent locs would be interlocks. I washed my hair with Dr bro nerd 3 times and used any curly hair pudding to install but afterwards washed the product out to prevent future buildup. Started mine with twists and i maintain with green tea and vitamin e oil. 6 months in now. But keep in mind if you start your journey and don't like the parting system that you can change it in the 0-3 month period. It's not permanent until you pass the 3 month period( or until your hair finishes budding. If You take it down conditioner and a sewing needle worked best for me) 😁 i hope this helps.
