4 Month Ownership Update! 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro… Do I Regret Buying It?

In this video I provide a 4 month ownership update of my voodoo blue 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. I talk through the pros and cons of my ownership experience and answer the forbidden question: Do I regret buy it?
This truly is the LAST real Toyota Tundra. A real truck should have a V8… and tow hooks. A real truck doesn’t have fake V8 noises pumped through the speakers.
With that said, you guys know I am buying a 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD pro later this month. So I’m remaining open minded. I hope my feelings will change after daily driving an IForce max. Stay tuned for that.
What are your thoughts? Is this V8 Toyota Tundra the last “real” Tundra?

Love the truck, looks absolutely badass with the tires and the diamond back. That being said, i still cant believe you gave away a 21 with the newer tech to end up with a 19 and for more money haha. But i do get the part about the future being uncertain. Nevertheless, that would be a hard pill for me to swallow, love the content as always!

Believe it or not, I had one identical to yours. And I sold it for a 9k profit - boy do I regret selling it. I really miss that truck, especially that voodoo blue color. Just may have to buy another one someday 😁

%100 agreed on all your views. I bought a 2021 Tundra double cab last year with plans on trading it for a 2022 Tundra. The 2022 double cab is super small now and is only good for very small children or dog. I can't understand how Toyota messed it up so bad. We only wanted better gas mileage in the new version.

Went to get service on my 17 TRD Offroad. They had an immaculate, black Tundra TRD Pro on the showroom floor. Only 40k miles. Wanted to buy.

Love these trucks . I have own a 2017 Trd pro and now a 2019 Trd pro In voodoo blue . I also own a 21 Tss tundra I drive strictly to work minus the gas mileage these trucks are simply the best. You won’t go wrong if you need a dependable and reliable truck

I owned a 2018 Tundra and traded it in for a 2023 Sequoia for my wife because we needed more space with a new baby coming. I miss everything about my old truck and would 100% buy the old 5.7 again. Now living with the iForce Max Sequoia about a year now. There is no comparison. I miss my old Tundra.

With the crazy prices of the new generation, I supercharged my 2018. Makes the Truck absolutely fabulous. Engine is never under strain- power when you need it (550 HP\550 Ft. Lbs. Torque). 15000 miles with it upgraded and no issues whatsoever.

I just paid 56k in Memphis for a LR TRD Pro ‘21, (36k miles) that my paint & body guy informed me when I got back to Tulsa, had been crunched on the right front😮, w/ a clean car fax too. In the process of returning the truck to them, though they appear to be in no hurry🫤.

Just wanted to add a follow-up to my earlier story/conundrum The fine folks at Chuck Hutton Toyota, Memphis, did the right thing and refunded my money and took the truck back. The original delay was not their fault as Toyota/Lexus dealerships in multiple states were hit with a Russian cyber attack on their CDK system which essentially shutdown their daily computerized systems and essentially their ability to conduct business operations. Despite that unforeseen debacle, they managed to process my return/refund, allocate the necessary resources, and FedEx me payment in full to my residence. 😊 so very thankful to my stellar salesman and friend Shane Williams. Gracias brother!🙏🏻🇺🇸

I have to agree this Generation of Tundra looks so much better and just feels like a Truck. New one is great an all. Naturally aspirated V8 engine. The sound and feel. Personal Preference. Great video

I miss my 17 TRD Pro Barcelona red… I don’t see the value in the 22-23 trd pro.. yes new tech and links and coil spring in the back… but at 70k to 90k+ I don’t see the value in price for the new trd pro…

What is the competitive advantage of the new generation Tundra? In my opinion it’s not more aesthetically appealing as the GM, Ford or RAM. The interior and technology is equal at best, but not better. Quality has always been the difference with Toyota so if in time the TTV6 misses that mark, it will be the least desirable pickup

I would like to see your thoughts, Untamed, on the new Sequoia’s interior space. I got inside one at my local dealership and it feels small. Very small .thanks to that battery pack. Especially behind the third row. I remember you mentioning something similar to this when you reviewed the new Tundra as well. The old gens. of the Tundra /Sequoia just feel larger inside…

295s will have a slight rub at full lock turns. 285s won’t.

Hey untamed. I have a question I've noticed th seats on my 21 pro squeak a lot mostly the sides on the bottom part I've noticed it more after getting it back from the shop i actually thought they had spilled something on the seats

Got a 2023 OR Tacoma coming in but found out it won’t have the tech package and are hard to find with the chip shortage with your wealth of knowledge on all Toyotas what’s your opinion on BSM and RCTA.. haven’t heard you mention these features before. Should I hold and wait for one with these features?

I mean they’re definitely nice to have. Just depends on your personal preference. I personally can live without that stuff. Especially if the truck is everything else you want: ie trim and color 👌

Slight rub on sway bar at full lock reverse turning. Go 285/70r18 if you don’t want to rub at all.

I still think you should have kept the 2021 Land Cruiser. The new upcoming Land Cruiser won't put a dent in the 2021 Land Cruiser's value in the long run. But, the Sequoia will be great for content creation since it will be new. It will be worth it if it helps your channel take off. And the white looks great on the Sequoia.

These particular ones are Westcott Designs sliders. DOM TIG Weld with top plates and kickout. 👍 Go Rhino RB20s are also a solid option. “Untamed” discount code should land you 20% Off too. 👌
