4. New Covenant Healing

It is an insult to the blood of Jesus and despite to the Spirit of grace to seek healing or any other promise of God based on the Old Covenant. Yet, almost everything we believe about healing is based on the old agreement... the Old Covenant. We have a new contract, a new agreement, i.e. an entirely new basis for approaching God. This week in my new series, Qualified for Healing, I will help you grasp and understand the New Covenant process for healing. It will change everything about how you believe for your physical and emotional health!

I once witnessed a man who the doctors said was on his deathbed get raised up and healed when I went to the hospital to visit him and pray over him. I went there in obedience to the Lord. I felt no anointing, no power at all. Yet the next day this man had fully recovered and would go home shortly. The doctors were mystified. I now know that the Lord did this miracle for the benefit of my 18 year old daughter who had accompanied me. This miracle taught her that God will move when we pray, even with mustard grain sized faith. She loved this family very much, so the impact was truly great. It was the grace of God, pure and simple.

I came back to my hometown and yes God gave me an open vision I made the mistake of going into church but I tell you I could not do any Miracles here either there was a lot of Doubt fear and unbelief

There are, however, occasions when spiritual blockages need to be dealt with to break the hold of the enemy. Unforgiveness, bitterness, etc. Repentance may be required to loosen and break free from a legal hindrance that the enemy may be using. Good message.

It should also be understood that, although one may have full understanding and faith in our Covenant healing, that sometimes God has His appointed time to manifest it. Meantime He refines us in the fires of affliction, purging out impatience while teaching us patience, replacing fear and dread with faith filled courage thru daily sustaining miracles, and causing His Word to become flesh in our lives in our wilderness experience, as we embrace with overcoming faith and endurance whatever pain and suffering or privations we encounter. It's called the furnace of affliction. But when those trials and testings of the enemy have done their worst, we come forth as gold. We never fear or doubt, nor do we quit trusting and declaring His Covenant truths, which is our birthright.

I am very unsure about this topic at the moment. I am starting it because I heard a teaching by EW Kenyon which talked about the positive confession. Basically EW Kenyon was saying that we are healed already. I don't see this is true at the moment because in James 5:14 through 16 it talks about praying for healing. Something not nessicery if s whole bodies are a reality. I have believed this too and I still was hurt. My believing to be healed ignored the fact my flesh is weak. Not only that but I have considered that we have all 9 manifestations(not gifts) of the spirit as 1 cor 12 states and one of them is healing so I have deduced that if healing was active already we would not need the manifestation of the gifts of healing (gifts because God gives the healing when he sees fit and not us and because we give the healing to others by way of the gift of holy spirit). I still am considering the topic. Please reply with scripture

Actually, there are numerous times that it doesn't even mention the faith of the person being healed. .. Luke 13:10-17 is but one example. Jesus clearly taught it was the faith of the pra-yer - the believer, which may or may not have been the one in need. In this case, it was Jesus' faith. All too often, preachers accuse the sick person for "not having enough faith." But, maybe, it was the preacher, or the pray-er, that did not persist, exercise their dominion, and get the job done.

So Jesus sent a team out before He entered a town to preach the gospel, what gospel did they preach? It could not have been that your sins were forgiven, or that Jesus was going to die for your sins. Jesus never publicly preached that, it had to be about the good news of the Kingdom of God Now Here. When you send out a team to the town your going to are they preaching what Jesus taught about the Kingdom or are they announcing " there will be healing because Jesus died for you??

Great point.. carol lambert... they were preaching the gospel of the kingdom ... could not have been preaching grace .. because peter did not understand it completely ... as the apostle Paul rebuked him to his face in front of all as we read in the book of Galatians
