Normal maps are generally used in game design! They're probably trying to expand the use of Clip Studio to game designers as well for 3D model painters.

This! I'm an asset designer and this lets me move even further away from the expensive alternative for making normal maps ❤ For those curious, normal maps give the illusion of more texture on a 3d object without having to make the base 3d object more detailed (more vertices) , and thus more expensive for the computer to render.

I'm glad Clip Studio is paying you finally because you really sold me on the update !! I said in another comment there's a few things that disappointed me but 3.0 genuinely seems so great. Especially for the sale price (: great video ✨

Chromatic aberration was possible to do already before v.2.0

Yeah, manually. But now we have a specific filter for it which lets you control the effect more easily and faster

Chromatic aberration has me in chokehold so sadly I had to upgrade to 3.0 but the fact that layer composition is only for EX users is a a crime against humanity. Not to add that new UI is absolutely horrible, finding assets store (general one, not just the recommended brushes) was absolute pain + you now dont see your clippy and gold points at the top like you used to.

Absolutely agree, this video sold me on the update and I immediately grabbed it, but I was crushed when I saw that layer comp was EX only. We all need that feature !! And yeah the weird UI things are going to take a while for me to get used to.

Yeah I thought it would be a PRO feature. It's really sad in that sense 🥲 And OMG yeah, I had no idea they were going to change the launcher like that. I really hope they'll add a dark mode soon and make the navigation more intuitive

Hello, i want to ask abt csp, is it free to create account/register profile? even w/o csp or w/ crack one? i do have one but from tablet pen bundle and another one is crack version.

Uhm, I don't remember the process to be honest, but I'm guessing it's totally free to make an account. Registering/linking it with a cracked program might not be possible tho

oh, you mean on the launcher? Yeah ;w; I had no idea they were planning a completely new UI/UX for that. I hope they add a dark mode soon!

As much as I like the program, I don't like sponsored 'reviews' as they are not objective. Also they seem to have dumbed down the noise filter, we used to have the perlin noise option with a lot of different sliders... now there's just one. Are they taking things away? It's making me not want to get the update tbh, as all the other features are pretty uninteresting to justify the $50-65 price

Fair enough. I didn't get V2 back in the days because I also didn't find it was worth the money. The only thing I'd like to point out is that all my reviews are 100% objective, even the sponsored ones. If a company won't let me be honest, then I don't want to work with them. I don't lie to my audience, it's just not worth it for me. I've got tons of videos using Clip Studio that are not sponsored. It's a program I enjoy and so I recommend it to other artists. Ultimately it's the other party's job to think about all the pros and cons of a recommendation before deciding if they want to follow it or not. So please, do not downgrade my content like that just because it's sponsored

@@NekoRinaThat's reasurring to to know at least. With the rise of sponsored content in youtube, finding who is being real and who is just faking it to try to sell you a shitty product is extremely hard.
