Keep fit Leopard style! You've got to admire Toby's commitment carrying those rocks and ice all that way to drop off bridges. And getting round in shorts and tee-shirt with all that snow and ice. It's been colder where you are than the cool stores I'm working in. Thank The Lord for freezer jackets!

Man it makes such a big difference when the sun is out nice and warm, when it went behind the mountain it dropped to 2 degrees instantly every day, so from 2pm - 5pm it would go to -1... good Jackets, gloves and warm hat, are essential

I loved this video! I am 66 and walked the Hooker Track a few months ago. After that we decided to walk to the Tasman Glacier view but didn't realise that it had 330 steps up (yes we counted them coming down). I have a knee replacement and a dodgy other knee but managed to do it. Sealy Tarn? Yeah na... It looked amazing though.
@leopardsgowild Жыл бұрын
Yea that Tasman view point is a bit of a sneaky climb aye, its amazing to think, that was where the glacier used to come to though right, Ice pushed all that gravel into that spot. Sealy tarn def a bit more challenging.

That's my next destination this winter... good to see you bit the bullet and brought a generator , i know it's not ideal for the environment but it's a must have when the sun doesn't shine...just a tip , don't carry a petrol can just keep the genie topped up , it's safer!!.❤️🇳🇿...ps 10klm in gumboots... Toby's a legend.🤣
@leopardsgowild Жыл бұрын
Yea mate, get in there... Looks like we got winter snow coming this week so be pretty stunning and icy in there by the weekend. Petrol can purchased mate, the tank on the gene is only 2 litres which only gives us about 3 -4 hours use, We've been using about that a day so need a refill. 10km in Gumboots or jandals is the prefered footwear, all our kids do have shoes though lol.
