Fred mich guy here, talking these owl hoots. I live 62 miles north of Detroit, I'm tucked back into a long stretch of Stateline that follows a River. A few months ago I let my dog out 2am for her last pee. I step into the flood light bang on a tree on the property next door!! He'll it startled me, then those fucking owls hoots I'm talking 4 of them, normally you hear 1 calling to another in the distance. Now it was like I could reach out and touch this sound around me. Now my dog was in the house]. Now a week later I do the same and this time from the Northeast I hear what sounds like a male coyote starting to gather the pack I'm standing there listening and shit feels wrong, it was like this sound was hitting me in the chest then it changes to what I felt was a low growl!! I mean as soon as this happen a whole pack of coyotes let loose in my back yard, it scared the shit out of me. I fucking ran into my home. I've never spoke of this to Steve at how to hunt I've just kept this one to myself thinking I'm listening to, to many podcast. But, after listening to you and these owl sounds I'm thinking could this shit be going down where I live and there's story's about some in the 80,s right where I live. I've seen black choppers flying the river low with an acorn looking thing sliced flat along the bottom going up and down one evening but, these owl sounds that night they were bizarre and never have I heard anything like that in my 63 years in the sticks. Keep talking I'm listening fred!!!!

Hello, my name is Karen I live in Ohio almost in the middle of the state a little north. And when I heard your description of that I’ll owl hoot it brought back so quickly an experience that I had several years ago. I do think they are very intelligent. Every time I went into the upstairs bathroom, well not every time but often enough, I turn on the light and because I lived with wood surrounding me I never bothered to drop the shades but I would get these owl hoots. And they were loud very loud and I kept wondering how or why it seemed so loud. Well this went on for quite a while and then one early morning one or 2 o’clock there was an apparent slapping on the side of the house in conjunction with someone running while they were slapping. I had no idea what this could possibly be. I surmise that it could’ve been kids but it just didn’t seem likely. Then then there was a rain of pebbles that came down on the roof. I did some investigating and found that behind the tree line there was a healthy tree that was snapped like in the middle of it. We never found any other evidence but it was a very strange situation. I think it was a hairy man.

SwanLake Sasquatch had an experience where he heard it really close, couldn't see anything, but later when he reviewed his video he saw its reflection into his sunglasses... creeepy

It takes bravery to recount these personal experiences of encounters with Sasquatch because I can see it triggers memories and emotions which are tramatic to relive again. It needs to be told, so others can realize the danger that they could be in if they encounter a Sasquatch. People need to know that they truly exist. You're trying to watch over your fellow mankind. I admire all of you who have the courage to be speaking about your personal experiences.

@@doubled1425 It's traumatic even in the case were one has a good experience and you're unthreatened like I was for mine. I think the sudden realization of holy fucking shit, they're real. Though I knew beforehand, the beforehand part doesn't do it any justice when it comes to reality. Definitely over 90% of people just simply can't fathom or even begin to imagine. He'll the same percentage doesn't even believe they're real, imagine seeing one then. And remember, I had a good experience! I will never, ever!!!! go into the woods alone again at night, though I wasn't alone that night it happened anyways. Fucking, crazy world we live in.

@@stopdroolin8418 I can imagine an encounter, and unlike the majority of people, I do not doubt that they are for REAL. As Fred has said, "It releases a "primal fear" inside a person. Since I heard that they are in Ohio, day or night, I am now afraid to enter the woods. I looked it up yesterday on the internet, and Alaska has the highest number of missing people yearly. I can't imagine living there, and trying to exist there with the realization that you may encounter Sasquatch at any time or place. I'm so glad that you came out of your encounter alive because I don't think that alot of people do. I truly believe you, and know that just seeing one would be terrorizing. I am SURE the memory of it is unforgettable. I've had frightening experiences in my own lifetime, but realize that none of them could be as tramatizing as an encounter with Sasquatch. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of what one can feel about an encounter with Sasquatch. As you want people to know, they are for REAL. Take care upon this world of ours'. There are unbelievable creatures upon it which exist here too. Thank for your reply to me. I appreciate you took the time to do it for me.

@@darrickmalloy6909 I was at trails in the night here in Michigan. We go there all the time make calls, tree knocks and this time in particular when everyone was walking down the hill to the trail head really slow, instead of going in as a group we went in single file. Except I was ahead by 50 or so yards. I go in the trailhead and I was walking as quiet as I could when I heard it then seen it up on the hill in the woods going deeper into the woods. After I realized I was alone, I ran back out of the trail head and they were just getting to the bottom of that hill just nefore the trail head itself so I was basically alone. Told them what I saw we went back anyways then few days later we went back it measured up to be atleast 10 ft tall I'd say 10.5-11ft. We leave. Come back a few days after that and inline will the direction it was running a half mile or so down the trail a thick tree is bent over in the direction it was running. We have pictures and it's still there right now bent over the trail. Something no person could ever do.

Crazy encounter for sure, now I ain't no mountain man, I can barely walk through the market some days, but I can't help but think of scenarios like this in such a way: Imagine you are sitting in your house, or let's say your yard and a group of strangers roll up, with tents, food and beer and just start doin what they do, with zero regard for you. How might you feel or react? I'd be trippin'....especially if they didn't even bring me something or offer me something and then, they get all bent outta shape when I get mad and show it, and start shootin' guns and stuff!! I know this sounds ridiculous, and from this shiny black leather, nicely padded office chair, I ain't gotta leg to stand on (pun intended) as far as this situation, but I will say, as a retired global diver, ya can't jump in and 1) be surprised there is a big ass shark and 2) get mad at it for being there.

On expedition Bigfoot they saw a large dark shadow of the creature walking in front of a cliff which then abruptly vanished into thin air. Just the shadow of a Bigfoot not an actual Bigfoot. Bizarre. Good grief I know what you're talking about. That bit of sauce in us or liquid courage. It happened during a family reunion where my mom is from on her reserve in summer of 2011. Typically I won't have these 'adult beverages' however I joined my oldest daughter and son and their boyfriend and girlfriend, it had my hubby really upset. But yeah things can get that way. About 1:30 am we started hearing these very loud coyote type of sounds. Since I used to be brought there as a child I knew the direction is was coming from was at the river that was about three quarter of a mile east no one else was familiar with the layout. It went on and on for about 15 minutes and getting closer to about one half mile. It was loud. The residences are always inside their homes we're just outsiders not knowing better and I believe our boisterous behavior drew them in from up alongside the Harrison Lake from the west side. The sounds had changed to a very odd clamorous tone. In my fuzzy head this started getting me nervous the others didn't seem fazed but I knew this wasn't normal. Finally I went to our tent and let the 'party' do its thing as everyone finally drifted off. We left right at daybreak. My hubby grew up in the country and knew instantly that it wasn't coyotes. Those were a group of sasquatches, it's very common in our area. You were visibly shook up describing this ordeal. Not even a bonfire could keep them away. They sure went berserk when you all got into the boat. Thanks for sharing your encounter.

Hi Fred. Hope you are well. Your dogs are beautiful. Thanks for yet another great story. Question....I've heard you mention twice about how your sister (I think that's right) was almost lured out by a Hairyman mimicking a babies cry..well...that is an extraordinary claim to make. Is that really possible that these creatures could actually be capable of mimicking a babies cry to get someone to come outside? I'm so intrigued by this action to pretend to be a baby. That sounds too outrageous! Love your stories man.

Maybe it’s me in AK and the lower 48 between 2006 - 2008 just an abnormal amount of violent confrontations or right on the line ! I hv not torn apart all the stories however your site and Wes Germer’s site I am noticing a trend ? I wonder if fires or some other events we understand? Because there is a whole other realm we do not understand!

Hey Fred, your storytelling abilities are superb!! Seriously. What you yourself have experienced is incredible. I admire that you don't let it ruin your experiences in the wild... Thanks for an awesome channel!! I'm addicted! I do have a question tho.. most animals, when hunting their prey, sneak up on them, make as little noise as possible, then attack. Why does the hairyman/sasquatch make itself known, if it's 'hunting' or preying on humans?? Also, don't you think it makes sense that they are terrified and Hate fire?? Thanks!

@@fredinalaska 😄 I know. I do NoT want to see one!!! But I'm nervous if you think about them a lot, what if you draw them to you?? The other night and the following night, I was outside getting a breath of fresh air 😉 when I heard what sounded like two tree knocks. The next night, my daughter and I heard what sounded like a bunch of branches breaking. I am in the middle of making a teepee (to grow flower Vines up it and use it to meditate, etc) and my daughter thought the 12 ft logs fell down, that's how loud the sound was. And I live in town, so surely not expecting one! Also, no Both times I got freaked out and nothing really freaks me out at all. Except dogman!! And probably sasquatch. Ew!

I don't like the word believe or unbelief because that suggests something in the faith area and reserved for spirits, god etc. things that don't leave footprints. Now I've never seen one but my thought is that there may be something out there given the amount of first hand sightings and some physical evidence I mean you almost have to concede there is something out there. With the Jane Goodall admission that there is quite possibly something to the myth because of people she had talked to that considered it just matter of fact and fairly credible since they weren't looking for any type of fanfare since they were tribal hunters down in the Amazon, they really don't have much need for fame but the point being if a leading scientist in her field is willing to go on record with admitting the possibility then it lends a lot of clout to the stories and evidence. Shoot even that Survivorman dude got on a kick for bigfoot because he heard something in Alaska he couldn't explain and he just wanted to satisfy his own curiosity and I think he's still pretty open minded about but the last episode in that series was one a friend of his did down in Florida and he used his Dad for the camera and his Dad caught it on heat signature camera and that was pretty funny because he wasn't expecting that and got a little frightened to say the least. Anyways good channel I enjoy your stories makes me feel like a kid again because these are the types of stories I loved to hear growing up. Seems to be more evidence than not for it's existence.

Some times I don't think sasquatch knows how smart we are.... making off key fake owl hoots. All I can tell you for sure....is I'll never shoot a squatch on sight but if they start throwing rock's or threaten my loved ones. I'm going to plug him. All I know will work first shot needs to be a head shot. That will end that one.

I should apologize for jumping you about safety & them Goofy kids down at Ford's Terror. Bit I won't. 🤣 Because you cannot stress be prepared in Alaska enough. Take for instance the guy took his girl to live with his bears. I betcha that bear killed them the 1st or 2nd time she went on her monthly. And I have never heard anyone tell women to stay out of the woods when they are bleeding. The Native knows this. You are doing a great job with safety. I just mentioned to you about 1 kook with a gun & listened to the Brooks Range Bear hunter lost his shit. Could have been big trouble. 🇺🇸

well I shot one through the wall with a 12ga and it screamed and shoved the shack , I'm assuming it hurt it but then I put 3 rounds from a .30-06 and a huge black one didn't flinch or buckle , it stopped moving forward but didn't flinch with the impacts I heard hit it, so I'm still having issues with that because we kill walrus with the exact same rifle , I've been told eye or head shots would have done the trick so honestly I don't know

SUBARCTIC ALASKA SASQUATCH man you have so many experiences. These entities I believe are the offspring of the fallen watchers as spoken of in the 6th chapter of Genesis. There is an undoubtedly a spiritual component to them and their ability to appear and disappear and travel supernaturally, I dare say they are inter dimensional. I wish you all the best good sir and may the Lord of all creation bless you in Jesus Name and keep you well and safe.
