Wow what an adventure 😮 I'm in palm springs and haven't heard of this trail. Just catus to clouds 🏜

I used to live in Palm Desert. Just Google Pacific Crest Trail and you’ll find all kinds of information about this trail. It is one of the three Premier trails in the United States making up the Triple Crown of thruhiking. 😁

nikki hinton No, actually I’m behind you. I got off the trail at KOA Campground at 444.3 and am in Palmdale waiting out the storm. I’ll resume on Monday and pick up a package at Hiker Heaven (the Saufleys). I hope I catch up with you. I miss you guys.

Shoulder issue and still manages to make a great video on the PCT! I caught myself smiling when you made the 200 mile marker! Great Job! Funny thing is, when you were showing your lunch of a "Dirty Diaper" I was literally putting peanut butter on crackers... Hmmmm and you filmed this 3 years ago! Too Funny!

Nice Video. I looked for Paradise Valley Cafe to Saddle Junction. Can't find it. Do you have a certain name for it. It's an interesting part of the PCT.

Hi Rev. Thanks for this video. I'm planning a long section of the PCT stating at Campo on April 17 and I see this year is a big snow year probably similar to when you were doing this hike. I'm in Florida and have no experience hiking in snow. I'm wondering if you have any advice for Mt. San Jacinto and the other mountains in the "desert" section of the PCT? I'm not planning on the Sierra this year. Thanks in advance. Dan

You’re welcome Dan. There are several “sketchy” sections on San Jacinto. A guy (Trevor Laher, “Microsoft”) died slipping off a cliff at Apache Peak. Then the “Fuller Ridge” section is alway snowy/icy. Make sure you use micro spikes and a snow axe when going over SanJac. Buy them at Nomad Adventure in Idyllwild and get info on how to use them from the owner. He’s a great guy. Goes up SanJac every day to give reports on the condition.
