It’s also about constantly making a conscious choice to learn that what happened to you was unfair and that passing that pain to other people makes you no different than the ones who hurt you. Also find activities that bring you a sense of joy and ‘competence’. Having something you feel like you’re good at (or are actually good at) is SUCH an empowering thing. It builds your self esteem and you can connect with other people who enjoy the same thing. Lastly, this isn’t going to be a perfect setup; you will have moments that take you back. But you need to then take the time and think about what happened and learn from that experience to maybe not make that mistake again.

That's a foreign scammer. Never send pictures that are innapropiate. These catfish scammers will use your pics to scam other victims. Remember, if they refuse video.chat or if the video looks like a fake filter that doesn't move normal then block them. There are take filter skins people can use nowadays while on video call.

i think its an escapism method. they aint confident or sth so they escape to social media where they can pretend to be someone else. that makes them momentarily feel good so they continue it to get more and more. i think its sth like that bc addiction works that way. its like getting drunk ig, you feel good for a moment and dont care that u feel bad later bc u can just do it again
