Hi Cheryl, wow, this is fantastic to hear. You are right in the industry already. Quick tip, start setting this up in one market only first, or you will run yourself thin. In my view, Kenya is the perfect market for this business model. as many brands already exist that you can aggregate. The Gambia may be a little small, for a supplement & drop shipping model.

I am a Somali-Canadian, and own a family business in which we sell Frankincense and Myrrh amongst other resins from Somalia, 100% natural skincare made from those resins and nutrition supplements. I have been studying how to do business in Africa and I came across your information. Frankincense and Myrrh are ancient natural remedies that are now more relevant today than they have ever been in a long time (in light of Corona Virus & other widespread sicknesses/diseases); and it's time we reintroduce these remedies to the motherland, would there be any obstacles unique to Africa that might make it a bit more difficult to open such a business there? @ Oliver Njoku, am not sure about the market in West Africa as am East Africa but there is a burg for organic products from soaps, perfumes, lotions, body butters and lotion bar making in the globe and so is in Africa. These require all sorts of essential oils but the most common are Bergamot, orange, ylang ylang, lavender, spicy ones -they are a variety including Cinnamon, ginger etc. Just do your research from that angle.
