I used to have 4 Togo’s locations and they’re all closed now. Pretty sure Jersey Mikes took them all out. They always had multiple units down every time they’d call. A lot of acidic products so always weepers.

I'm no hvac or refrigerator repairman, I'm just a Chef trying to run a food truck. I have a true cooler similar to these that went down. The lower fan wasn't coming on so I replaced the motor. Still didn't work so I replaced the thermostat. Now it comes on but it is not cooling. Ran for 4 hours and actually got 10 degrees hotter. Any advice?

For any box, big or small, depends on what temp you want to run, subtract the DTD of the evaporator and check the PT chart for the refrigerant you are using. Typical R134 box you want your product at say 35 degrees... what temperature should your SST be to remove heat?

Talk talk great British band but I’m biased being British, sadly Mark Hollis no longer with us, surprised on the piercing valves you don’t normally recommend them. But I reckon speed was the driving factor. Do a drum cover of talk talk a lot to choose from with drums highlighted

Got to blow out the evap drains. They put rags in the bottom when the drains plug and start leaking into box.

The absolute last thing you want to do to any small refrigeration or ice machines is to check refrigerant levels...make sure you are absolutely certain first that there is an issue with the refrigerant level ...check ALL other possibilities FIRST...and make sure it’s NOT flammable refrigerant before putting on ANY piercing or access valve
