I believe you know this all ready, but the Traulsen probes are the same green or blue, the color of the wires are just different. This is more for the noobs in ice machine repair, so you can use a green probe where the blue coil one is and visa versa, in a pinch. Also I think the ETC111 probe has the same resistance as the Traulsen's, but I'd have to double check that before saying it really is. We have a saying for the build-up in the ice machine at our company Dave, it's called "SHMEGMA"!!!! Good job Dave!

It's quite a responsibility to be trusted with the secret defrost launch codes. If people knew what the inside of the machines look like that make the ice for their drinks, they would take a pass on the ice.

That ice machine is just nasty, how can people let them get like that and not care. I own a restaurant I have a Brema ice machine and it works great and is a breeze to clean and sanitize. I also do all my own refrigeration work got my 608 a few years ago and started taking care of my own stuff simply because its more cost effective for me.

Those traulsen controls are way way over complicated I dump it all and get a dixell XR control in it one controller and easy probe replacement also $200 VS $2000 for the traulsen crap 😂😂

I Keep it stocked on the truck. Saves a crap load of driving time for parts. Defrost clock - 8145-20 9watt 115 cw L. P control. Temperature controls for prep tables & 2 doors. Driers
