1. Normally I use the translation our church uses. 2. But I also try to read a different translation every one or two years, give or take.

Thanks for the video. The BSB is my current favorite translation. Like yourself, I have more Bibles than I need or use. Over the past few months I've spent most of my time in the NKJV and I'm really enjoying it more than I ever expected. Part of the enjoyment is the Maclaren layout as there is lots of room for the words to easily be read. Nice word and line spacing 🙂. I'd love to get some of the other editions out there but since we're about the same age and those letters keep getting smaller for some reason 😉. I started with the NIV 84, then the NASB 77, spent about a decade in the Complete Jewish Bible, and have been somewhat homeless over the past few years as I'm still searching for "the one". Yes the BSB is my favorite, but I'm not positive it's "the one" just yet. Next year, God willing, I hope to read through the NASB 77. I kind of feel like I may just make a year of reading through each of the various NASB Bibles (77/95/2020) and the LSB as well. I doubt I will, but who knows?

I always enjoy reading all different Bible translations. I stay away from paraphrases as much as possible. I was raised KJV only so most off the verses I have committed to memory are KJV. I switched over to ESV around 10 year ago and have loved reading from it. However, I've been doing some research on the new LSB Bible and I am thinking about getting one for myself. I'm praying about it I will see where God leads!!. I enjoy your videos!!

Thanks. I certainly don't use the paraphrases as my primary Bible. However, when I look at them I approach them with this thought: "How would someone put this in their own words?" Helpful insight, but not your only go-to Bible! Hope this helps!

Hello, I am looking for an open source PDF bible that has all the books, chapters, and verses bookmarked for hyper links. With the ability to link to one or more verses and highlighted. Preferably in KJV. I am about 1/5th of the way of creating one but if one exists it would save me time on the main project that I need it for. If I do have to finish it I want it to be distributed as far and wide as it can go. It will be perfect for anyone that is doing digital ministries.

Great idea! I don't know of one for the KJV, but I know you can download one for free in the Berean Standard Bible. They have heaps of different ones to choose from. berean.bible/downloads.htm

The remarkable Bible is available in pdf with hyperlinks for jumping from book to book. I've been using it on Android tablet with some success, but I think ios has better apps for this type pdf

@@tamaradavis4703 The problem is once you tern it into an app android and apple have rights to it and it is no longer open license. Thank you for a good idea. When mine will be done it will stay open in pdf and no outside licenses to be freely distributed.

@@keithferrin I downloaded it ant it for my needs to reorganize the file structure it would be about the same amount of time to keep going with KJV as they are at about the same starting point. If I complete my project I might offer to add the file structure for the berean bible if they would want me to do so. I am looking at 2 to 3 months to complete my project. To add the file structure to a bible is about 700 man hrs.
