MOKS Gaming I do a all the time ! In neighborhood there were woods over grown with weeds and garbage from old homes that had flooded out in 1918 acres of them and some homes stood but mostly they had collapsed in on thereselves. But stopped at the floor. So the basements remained in tact many of those had holes dug down into the basements. A place no adult ever visited a occasional rail bum, which were scary on there own when there was 10 of us and 1-2 of them we’d stand our ground and run them off if we could most seemed like they were mentally challenged . Tattered clothes smelly mix matched shoes . But there were many young men that were just jumping trains to get across the US. But we lost 2- neighborhood boys in the 80s. No one listened to the kids about what lived in those basements in that weed infested flooded out area cut outta a three square block area the telephone poles still stood with broken street lights. Broken from kids that played there years past. Us kids knew what happened to those boys ... either the things from the basements or a railway bum had snatched them up. Either way they were gone and never found again but us kids knew...

I wonder about those kinds of things too; how many "missing" people were actually the victim of a cryptid? Or the victim of something else paranormal; being abducted by non-human entities that aren't of this earth? Being murdered by someone who may have been possessed by a nasty spirit or a demon? I tend to try to stay open-minded, but I also keep a skeptical, rational mind too. However, I, nor anyone else, has the right to say that weird sh*t doesn't exist. Period.

No. It is because they think other people will think their lying. That's why rape victims don't come out immediately. It is because they think people will think that they are lying.

Remember folks, when you go hiking always bring the following: Map, necessary gear, proper footwear, working lights, fully charged electronics, buddies and maybe a dog. Alternatively, you might want to consider bringing: flamethrowers, heavy machine guns, armor, a squad of navy seals and a bazooka. Be prepared and have fun!

Me and my dad were at Hurricane Ridge at Olympic National Park, we stopped at a waterfall on the way up and about 5 minutes after stopping we heard growls and a large tree limb flew down at us. My dad had an open carry permit and had a Remington 870 shotgun in the truck, he had me run to the truck and grab the shotgun off of the rack. When I got back to him he had his 45. Acp cal 1911 and we saw two things run between the trees, a few seconds later one hopped down and chased us up to the visitor center. I jumped in the bed of the truck and started shooting at the thing until we got to the outskirts of the visitor center. When we got there we told a ranger and he and my dad and I went back down and we found a set of foot prints about 17 inches long. We haven't gone back since

When I went hunting once, looking for some tracks, we came upon some _Huge humanoid footprints_ like, size of my forearm long, and 2 inches deep into the hard clay like dirt, whatever it was, had to weigh a literal ton, and honestly, it made me believe in the supernatural. I’m a skeptic about most things, but I that experience has opened my eyes up to the possibilities of unknown animals yet to be discovered, though I _have_ no idea _how_ this thing could still be hidden from us. Baffles me.

You have a fantastic voice! You sound like of the book narrators from my Audible app. Honestly, you should look look into becoming a book narrator. I know I’d be more likely to buy the book with you doing the narration. You have amazing talent! With all the competing scary stories channels on YT, I’ve got to say, you have a higher level of quality stories. I’d just about given up on the whole scary story bit but I’ll be visiting your channel again! Although, good narration does make all the difference! Lol Glad I came across your channel! It’s my first visit but I will be subscribing. 😀

I just wanna say your audio quality is always really great. I work in stone carving and cutting and I love listening to these types of narrations but some narrators just aren't as loud and clear as this and if I don't put on my noise canceling headphones on top of my Bluetooth set, I can't listen to them. But you? Nah, I can always hear you over the saws!

@@cativamusereacts9926 there is a big difference between a wendigo and skinwalker. A skinwalker is a witch that turns itself in to animals. A wendigo is a terrible monster, it has a frail looking body with long limbs and is quite powerful and has a desire to kill and eat the flesh of animals and humans

Neil & Machelle Family Are you familiar with the cryptid "Dogman"?
@neilmachellefamily6741
@neilmachellefamily6741 6 жыл бұрын
15seconds99 I have heard stories of The Dogman, whatever it was that night scared us so bad. And where we live we have encountered more weird and scary things, like knocking on trees, rocks being thrown, we have seen a lady in white three times. There use to be a coal camp where we live and they use to burn the workers who had no family and our house sit exactly where they did that and the floor would move and you could hear screaming. This place where we live is full of paranormal activity. I moved back but not where my childhood house was but maybe a mile down the road where a bar once was and a lot of men where killed here on the roadway. You can hear old time music sometimes and smell gunpowder. I have a lot of stories to tell.

15seconds99 I live in a very remote holler in West Virginia. When I mean remote I mean maybe 20 people live here and the closes town is maybe an hour away. Now I am gonna give you a little history on this holler. Back in the 1920s to 1940s this place use to be a coal camp town, which had a train station, stores and bars. Now the mine's was at the start or head of the holler. They had a huge furnace where they would burn the men that had no family what so ever to clam the body, this saved the mine owner money. Now this mine went bankrupt in 1940 something and a land company bought most of the land here. Stores went outta business but one bar stayed going. In 1986 my mother, which was 14 at the time and my dad, 19 rented the land in which the furnace use to be. They didn't have anything to their name, so my dad got a mobile home frame and built a house on it. It wasn't much but when he finished it looked nice enough. I was a year old when they moved in and my mom use to tell me all kinds of things that use to happen back then. When I was 5, I went into the bathroom with my mom and the floor starting moving. My mom thought maybe a dog had gotten under the house because like I said it wasn't much. She goes outside to look and there was nothing there. My dad goes on a hunting trip up north and my mother and I stay home. We had just bought a new tv and my dad just sit the old tv in the floor by the door to take out when he returned. That night my mom and I were just sitting down to eat when the old tv came on and starting blaring. My mom runs over to unplug it thinking my dad forgot to and it wasn't plugged in. She opened the front door and threw it outside smashing it on the steps. There was a lot that happened at that place but the one that scared all of us was when my dad bought a camper for hunting and pulled it to the end of our house. Now this camper had no electricity, no water, no nothing to it because he had just gotten it. My mom went to open the door and she stopped. I was 6 and I didn't know what was going on. She was making a funny face and I heard a popping sound. My dad ran over with a board and hit my mom knocking her to the ground. I didn't understand but my mom was electrocuted that day. Her fingers where she grabbed the door turned black and blue and she just about died. Not long after that my dad buys a mobile home and pulls it maybe 500 feet below the old house. Now I am maybe 8 or 9. One night it came a horrible storm and it started to flooded the creeks around us. My dad was taking measures to make sure our mobile home did get knocked off the blocks it was sitting on. I was in my room and something told me to look out my window. My window faced the old house and our swimming pool. I opened the blinds to see this figure hovering over our swimming pool. It was dressed in white robe and had long hair. When the lightening would flash I could see it and I saw it was a woman. I screamed at my mom and she came running and I pointed out the window. She looked and screamed a blood curling scream and tore the blinds down, grabbed me and ran. It scared her to death but I felt peaceful. The next day out preachers wife passed away in a horrible car accident. These are just some of the things that have happened while growing up here and now living here again I have more stories.

Here is your like good sir. Will keep paying in such currency should you keep up with the good content. 😁👍 Also, possibly Hawaiian horror stories? I think that'd be pretty cool to hear. Or more indigenous American stories! Gotta love a good wendigo story! Sincerely, Your loyal horror junkie. 😊

I grew up in the mountains but didn't have any experiences like these. Scariest thing I can remember would probably be waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of my cat trying to catch a possum that somehow got into the house.

Paulo Gomes Not his fault at all. It is You-Tube putting all the advertisements in. It is because he has so many followers & subscribers that there are so many ads. Good to see the channel doing so well, but like you, all the constant ads drive me crazy.

Look - My videos are over half an hour long. There's two to 3 ads on a 10 minute video, so there are more ads on a longer video. And they're all skippable. If you want stories, you have to be okay with me making money on the content I spend hours to produce for you. For free. Almost daily.

That frigging deodorant commercial?! It's like an hour long. Bahaha. 😩 BUT, that being said, you rock! Love all your content.... my faves are cryptids & the paranormal. Was born in beautiful CO so especially eerie. Love it!
@DarknessPrevails
@DarknessPrevails 6 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I WISH youtube would let us choose the maximum length of ads that appear. Even though they're skippable, you're not always by your device when you listen. So, when a long ad plays, you have to wait forever for the video to come back.

Darkness: is there any way you can edit your videos or the timing of the ads? The ads really disrupt the rhythm and creepiness when they are mid-sentence or worse, mid-word. It really makes for a stilted, disjointed experience. I am a huge fan, but my adoration is dwindling because of the incredibly disruptive advertising..
@LVGirl4

Sam Thompson He has absolutely no control over the advertisements unfortunately. It is absolutely under the control of You Tube. They put all the ads in. And the more followers & subscribers he has, the more advertisements he will have. Since he has so many, the ads will continue to be frequent. But it is good to see that the Darkness Prevails channel is doing so well. Like you, though, the ads drive me crazy.

9mm would just piss it off. I can attest that a 12 Gauge does work... but it was too close for comfort. A powerful rifle would have been better.

welp last summer I went to the mountains in Colorado I never really experienced anything creepy but one thing we were at a lodge my mom was the cook there I helped work around there so I had just got done feeding the horses when I went to pull. down the door when I had the worst feeling of being watched I've ever felt I ran as fast as I could back to the lodge I did not look around so that's it never saw it and Im grateful for it.
