Mostly in this price range laptop spec includes 45%ntsc display, plastic build, in some laptop skip backlit either fingerprint, mostly processor i5 1235u, ryzen 5550u, i5 1335u, .. some laptop has i5 12450h but ram is not upgradable. Although acer swift 3 is older one but in term of spec it has good specification relatively. And thank you for your reply❤..and ignore my english 😃

My only complaint was how it stepped down in performance when on battery power. I really thought there was something wrong with the unit but I've had it now for just under 24 hours and it's really grown on me. I love the build quality, it's very solid and I think will be a good companion with my 2 MacBooks for Djing.

This is a beast of an ultrabook laptop. I have the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with AMD Radeon Vega graphics and it is very quiet. Nobara Linux 40 is flying on my Acer Swift 3.

You're in luck! We do have that screen color accuracy data but we didn't include it in this video. From our test, it can go up to ~350 nits of brightness For color gamut: 99.21% sRGB 75.33 DCI-P3 71.38 Adobe RGB As for delta E, it averages at around 0.17 I'd say it's pretty good for day-to-day use and some video editing and gaming.

I'm not sure if you can add another SSD but I am quite sure that you can take out the original SSD and swap it with a 1TB SSD. You'll need to reinstall Windows though. The reason why we don't take apart Acer laptops is the warranty sticker over one of the screws.

That's something I can't answer 100% since Acer laptops have a warranty sticker on the screw. I think the SSD should be swappable though I'm not sure if there's a second SSD slot or not. Same goes for the HDD though I think it's unlikely to have a HDD slot at all.

That's weird. I can't remember how I get it to work - I just plugged in the USB-C cable to the laptop and it worked. I'm not sure if it's the USB-C to HDMI cable or just a USB-C to USB-C cable though.

I have this laptop and I've had nothing but problems with it. I've only had it back 7 weeks and it's started freezing again. I was told it was because of an outdated operating system and drivers but I update it everytime it says new update and all the drivers say that I've have the most recent installed. Quite difficult to pinpoint the exact cause. My advise is to reformat and start fresh (not using the Windows reset feature) and try again. If things are still problematic then it must be a hardware problem.

No not fully aluminium. The keyboard is decent enough that I won't complain. Yes can charge via Type-C port RAM is not upgradable. Video editing if simple ones should be fine.

That's just how Windows work. You can get most of the drivers from Windows Update directly, but some of it will not be optimized.

Hi, I bought an Acer Swift 3 SF14-511/SF314-43, it has a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor and a 8GB RAM. as I just said it randomly turns off without warning and then immediately starts up what can I do, apparently others had the same problem due to an update but I nothing I do seems to make it go away, I'm going to change to a different laptop all together soon unless I find a way to fix it, thank you

I have this laptop for three months and one time when i open the device the screen displays NO BOOTABLE DEVICE, i turned it off and works well after. after few weeks the device restart on its own and keep on retastarting. I turn it off and then works again. sometimes the screen on busy days it abruptly bluescreen and says collecting some errors need to restart. i force shutdown and works again. Sounds like something wrong with the SSD. It's either loose or had gone bad. I suggest you get Acer to verify it.

Because I noticed that intel i7 version has thunderbolt fast charging but it just have 4 core only. While ryzen 7 its doesn't have thunderbolt fast charging but its have 8 core for the processor ryzen 7. Help me please. If you are not going to take advantage of Thunderbolt's maximum performance, then just get the AMD version. TBH, I think the AMD version is more than enough for many people. I'm not sure about the problems though, I've not encountered it.
