No idea how long StudioRack has been around but I'm mad at myself for not using it for however long it's been since it's release! I've always wanted a way to experiment with vocal chains created by other people. I've developed my own vocal chain over the years just off trial and error. Took me awhile to really dial in my sound and I've always wanted to see how others would create their own vocal chains but it's always been kept secret and I could never find anything online that often. I'd love to experiment with the same vocal chain artists like The Weeknd, Joyner Lucas, Eminem etc. use. Mine sounds pretty solid these days but I know there's ones out there that would blow mine away and would help keep me inspired.

To fully utilize this, unless you own most of the Waves plugins, you will need to get the Studioverse subscription. Here is a link to it: geni.us/waves-studioverse

Can studio rack be used live with LV1

It says it works with Waves 200+ plugins, so I would imagine so. 👍

so you can use vst but u cant put aax in thier can you >??
@AudioSorcerer2 жыл бұрын
No, only VST. As long as you have been installing both types (AAX and VST3) as you've been buying plugins, you will be all good to go.

Greetings. Could someone tell me why it doesn't detect any of my vst3? :( Scanning individually, the default folder or in any way, it always says "0 pluggins scanned" 🤷🏽♂️
@topdazzle2 жыл бұрын
Did you scan for them? If you did, you may need to tell it where your plugin master folder is on your PC / laptop.

Meh…I can see the value of this if you’re trying to establish your work flow, but I don’t see anything here if you’re trying to improve it.

A reason not to use it; I found it to be a CPU hog with a few plugins and macros going...
@AudioSorcerer2 жыл бұрын
Do you think it might be the macros? I haven't tested them yet.

@@AudioSorcerer It could be, that and the fact I was using H-Reverb in the chain.. Its a great plugin to be fair Im just unhappy about it taking 1/8 - 1/4 cpu power

All these features are built into Reaper... No need for a 3rd party plug-in that won't intergrade that well... Most like it's a bit glitchy & causes lots of crashes... Plus this only works for vst3 plugins
@Marquxse2 жыл бұрын
Well not everyone has reaper or wants to use it so this is a definitely an alternative for users who want to use VST3 plugins in daws that don't support that

Waves are the least good sounding plugins. Mostly EQ trickery and all the money goes to marketing instead of the developers. Try real audio plugins
