these stories remind me of something i experienced myself... apparently my house is built on a place where horrible things happened a long time ago wich a woman once told us (perhaps torture grounds or something like that during medieval times) i've had several odd things occur from decorations flying to the other sight of the room (as if being carried there then dropped) to sounds and seeing what seems like figures (in the dark and in the corner of your eye even though there is nothing there with that shape of form) and the fears i had as a child (for example i Always thought that there were undead/skeletal creatures under my bed ready to smash their hand trough my mattress and body.... or the thought of a hole appearing on the ground and a giant shadow hand coming out to grab me)

Here's another place that's haunted, 27 church road, Cinderford, Gloucestershire. I lived there for 11 years, the ghost there isn't hostile to certain people though. The ghost's name is jack, he was a miner that died as a child. Now as I said he isn't hostile. But if you are a bad person then you are more likely not welcome in his home. He's only ever creeped me out twice. One was when I was 2 and he was walking into my mum's room on the 2nd floor. The other was when I was returning on my 10th bday at 9pm from legoland in london. He sat on the sofa next to the door staring out the window. Waiting. From time to time I'd see him in the kitchen for a second looking out of the window before dissipating. My father didn't like it there. He was an agressive man, a child and woman beater as well as a cheat. My dad would always try to be out of the house as much as he could and would use work or "gym" as an excuse. Infact he'd often go live with his sister for a while whenever my family had had enough of him every once in a while and moved out to our grandparents. At the age of 9 I had moved into the basement or what was the old storage room. It was dark and next to the toilet. I would never feel alone though. This seemed to be where Jack seems to have spent most of his time when he was alive. Even in death he continues to be here. Some nights I would have a conversation with him before drifting off. Others I'd just fall asleep. On my brother's 8th birthday a year later. I had woken up, excited for his birthday. I loved parties, cake and generally going out and about on them. I had began watching the pokemon movie "Rise of darkrai". Then a chill down my spine happened around the part that Dialga and Palkia had began battle. Somethnig was telling me to turn it off. But I didn't. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps trembling down the stairs. It was my father going to the toilet late at night. It was too late. He came into my room yelling at me. Slapping me 3 times across the face before slapping me one more time into the corner of my wooden bed. A 16mm cut above my eyebrow. I felt that something had protected me from the blow temporarily though. My mother had woken up to me screaming. My dad was forced to leave the house and was no longer aloud to be around us without supervision. Tending to the wound we had gone to the Dilke. It had been at least a week before jack re-appeared. He looked almost happy. My dad hadn't returned at that point. When he did Jack had become more hostile towards him. My dad would no longer be sleeping in the house at all. It was only upon the final week before we left him he was in the house as my mum had gone to peru for a week with my grandmother. My grandfather checked on us constantly throughout the week. At age 11. I moved out of the house entirely. It has been almost 7 years since I've left the house. And to this day, I have not heard of anyone spending more then a year in that house.

Quick question: When I go to sleep at night I hear this ringing in my left ear and It isn't the regular ringing that you always hear. This ringing is more... not louder but noticeable. It has a higher pitch than the other ringing and It only happens to the left of my bed which is why I said my left ear because that is usually the ear facing in that direction. Do you think it's my imagination or not?

This one house I lived in was crazy, mainly just in my room but occasionally there would be loud footsteps going through the house and knocking at the door with nobody there in the middle of the night, and also, every single night at exactly 3 am my t.v. would come on by its self, it was an old t.v. where on channels with no signal were all static, and it was always on the channels, I have always been a really hard sleeper and have always slept a full nights rest but every night I would always be waken by nothing which was very strange. I also have a bathroom placed directly behind my bed which always opened on it's own in the middle of the night. Also, once, in the middle of the day this time, I was home alone, and at the time I was going through one of those stages where boys want long hair and on the back of my bedframe I have these bars, and out of nowhere something reaches out from the bottom of the bed which didn't make sense because I had tons of boxes with stuff under my bed, grab my hair and pulled against the bedframe, I then immediately without hesitation reached and grabbed my pocket knife and cut off my hair from where it was being pulled and ran out of the house. I stayed at a friends house until we moved, and got rid of that ridiculous hair xD

Ok the least believable thing about the first story is the guy loving christmas because his birthday was close to it. Mine is and I despise the holiday, and everyone else I know who's birthday is close to christmas either hates it or at least feels no love for it. No one cares about/remembers your birthday when everyone's freaking out about christmas. My own immediate family forgets unless I remind them.

I think my apt is haunted lol . I was just telling my coworkers about it how me n my roommate always sees shadows, just today I walked out to the balcony n my sliding glass door locked on its own , also wasn't the first time. We heard a piano playing in rhythm one night when we were talking in the room not just that I didn't have down stair neighbors yet. My roommate was doing dishes an the pot slid to the sink n broke a glass. More to that part but to much to write. Always have nightmares an I never remember dreaming until I got here. One morning I woke up to go to work n I seen my roommate to get up I was sleeping in the kids room I seen her go in my room n she walked out n shut the door. I asked her to shut the light off but she kept walking , I was like wth. So I got up walked to the living room and she was past out next to the kids just snoring. The next day I told her what happen n she didn't remember a thing kinda freaked me out. I asked her do u sleep walk n she said no . There more stories that happen idk freaky apt though lol.
