Like always, great video content. Quick question, where can we buy those crickets, especially the one with that container that you had on your hand. We need something like that, something small, and portable.

Watching from the Houston, TX area. Love the sheepshead’s videos. I’d be curious to see if they would bite on the Berkeley Power Bait for trout. That bait is shaped like corn and has some built in scent.
@southernsaltАй бұрын
I bet they would
@fishermansdream36Ай бұрын
I got an idea. The harmony looks really good for being barnacles, but it doesn’t have really any ascent, but they’re cheap. Try putting a little drop Of procure sent and see if that changes the odds of getting bites

Man great video i will definitely try the crikets lol. Question do u think the split shot are putting a smal nick n ur line and causing u 2 lose more fish?
@southernsaltАй бұрын
I think it’s the bridge nicking my line

Is sheepshead your winter "go to" fish? I'm sure I'll figure it out watching your videos through the winter. Just curious...
@southernsaltАй бұрын
It is. Winter really starts to limit our species and sheepshead is one of those that are still around.
@fishermansdream36Ай бұрын
Crickets are extremely strong smelling. I wouldn’t be surprised if that black drum smelt it from a decent distance away and came up after it. Trade also using a better quality corn. It might not be as mushy and you were using comedy. I like you to also try maybe Black Eyed Peas I think those would be good. They’re pretty firm and they’re light color light barnacles.

I'm from New York City and our favorite bottom fish are called Tautogs or blackfish. We use jigs and sometimes hooks. Have you ever used clams and clam bellies brined. And they are a lot tougher than worms

I’ve used oysters and they work well
