I need my memory refreshed. My sister and I fished competitively with our husbands. Our favorite tournament was The Couple's Only tournament each year. Every man in the boat had to have a female. Calcutta Friday, fishing from 12:01 Saturday til 5pm weigh-in, Sunday was trophy and money with a huge meal and dance. All fish was donated and we brought covered dish. Phew. Here's the deal. One category was mystery fish so you'd keep one each of hardhead sand trout and sheepshead, not knowing which fish it'd be. Sis & I learned a trick on sheepshead to take the gut pouch out only. Put the fish in a big Pyrex dish put water about 1/4 way up, cover it up tight with saran wrap and microwave. That pretty white meat came off the bone in beautiful chunks. We'd make fake crab dressing doing thanksgiving recipe but using Old Bay instead of sage. I just can't remember how long to microwave it. Wish y'all would experiment for me. Lol. We have crab traps but I never pick them out for this recipe. Sheepshead is better.

I really like your videos. I’m from Dothan and I’ve haven’t done much saltwater fishing. I fished Mobile bay one time. We went out with someone at Dog river. We enjoyed it until the sea breeze came in. I caught a huge flounder and my wife hung a big drum that eventually broke the line because of improper wriging. Our friend used a grunt and casted it out and something grabbed it and busted the line. A heavy braded line

👍on these types of videos brother. Agree, those are some of my favorite fish to eat. You need to get a pile of lionfish and fry those up. I used to get a bunch while diving and cook them up. They are great!! Oh and that canal can be sketchy to fish sometimes. We saw a speed boat, about a 45+ footer, had to be running 60+ mph in that same area you were in. No way he could have seen a smaller vessel because of the height of his bow and it was getting dark.
