Ryan, won’t the tool stress the shoe holder pins when you want to tighten it down hard? I rather tape the plier teeth or get one with rubber inserts and hold the flywheel down. Husky has a nice rubber teeth insert pliers. It’s not compact though.

shoe holder pins? Those pins will see much higher stress during operation than this
