Adam, I have an idea for a video. How about going through your process with preparation for a big race like DNC or Silver State where you don’t get very much track time. But, you have to be ready to race pretty much immediately. What are you doing at the track in order to get your cars up to speed without being able to practice more than 10 minutes total before qualifying starts?

I really appreciate all your videos Adam, I just recently got into Nitro a couple weeks ago, I've been in the hobby for about 25 years but brand new to Nitro and your content has been super valuable to me.

Great video. Awesome tip on the clutch springs. If in a pinch do the Mugen or Associated shoes work with the Protek Clutch as well?

5:00 How does that RM2 flywheel tool from JC hold the crankshaft from spinning? I've always had to remove the back plate and jam the rear end of a tooth brush that's made out of a super tough plastic between the rod and the crankcase to keep it from spinning, and it's even less elegant than it sounds Lol.

You said that you change clutches depending on what kind of power delivery you're looking for. What are the differences between the three?

Do you not use a washer behind the collet

My Mugen clutch did not have a washer behind the collet, but my OS clutch does

It depends on the shape of the crankcase and flywheel. Some will flywheels will bind on certain engines and some won't. Easiest way to determine whether or not you need a washer is to put the flywheel on without the washer. If you can tighten down the clutch nut and the flywheel spins freely, you're good to go. If not, take it off and put however many washers it needs. Hope this helps
