4 Simple DIY Budgie Toys 🪀

Today I present to you: 4 simple DIY budgie toys! I've been wanting to make these toys for weeks and now I finally got around to it. Lately, we've been really busy, so sadly I haven't been able to make many videos. I hope I'll be able to make more again in the future!
I decided to make some simple toys for our budgies because they are with so many and sometimes they get bored. It's important to provide a budgie with enough entertainment so they don't bite, scream, and fight.

Where do you get the coconut half?

I had a phase where I was eating a lot of coconut, so I bought whole coconuts at the supermarket that I cracked and cleaned myself. Now I have a stack of them lying around 😋 But that only works when you also want to eat the coconut meat and drink the water etc. Sometimes you also see them in (online) bird/pet shops. My parents gifted one that used to have bird food for wild birds in them. And some online bird shops have a section with materials for budgie toys.

is paper not bad for birds? isn't it bad when they eat them?

As long as it doesn't have ink or other chemicals it's ok ☺️ They like to chew and tear it, but they don't generally eat it. You can check if you see paper underneath the toy, then you know whether they eat it. But it's not something that hurts them if they do eat it.
