What I really appreciate about your videos is that you use the drone to assess your safety and obstacles, and plan your shot before you commit to anything. I'm sure a lot of people simply forget to "look" before they fly which results in a lot of crashes. Great stuff!

F'n A Right!! haha I did the same thing, but you had already said what I wanted, but better! So I just came to agree. My 1st flight was a week ago, of course, Il egot it caught in a tree, luckily was at my mothers, and the tree is literally the biggest around, haha. So I couldnt find with the leaves and shit. So I was checking alll around the tree everyday!! Yup, 5 days later, which was 2 days ago, we had a Tropical storm come up from FLA, im in MA, usa. Sure as shit, the next morning, it was resting on th grass. I dried it out, carefully and back practicing. Definitely, need lots of practice, but your details tutelage is spot on!!!!!!! Purchased a Mavic Mini a few days ago because of its portability. I have a Phantom 4 that has pretty much been in the closet. I am watching tons of Mini videos and came upon yours. SO we have some guy sitting in his car doing videos. Then I noticed this guy was actually flying his drone while he was talking. I watched one video then another and then another. I do not understand how so many videos are about how to turn the Mini on while yours actually teach and demonstrate what a person should and needs to know. Yes the DJI fly app comes with a few transitions like fade in, fade out and dissolve. Just click on the transition box between the two clips and select the transition of your choice. People make them in post, i dont think its possible in the app though. Vertical Pano is popular for Instagram though.

6:30 When flying backwards while shooting a reveal shot, stuff keeps revealing. Stuff comes into the shot as you fly backwards. This keeps the shot interesting.

Just an FYI from an RF kinda guy.... Reflecting signals can add OR subtract from the received signal strength. It is called "multipath". If the reflected signal is received IN PHASE you add to the signal. If the reflection is 180° out of phase, you could receive nothing, zip! The wavelength at 2.4 and 5.8 is only inches, if you raise the drone by one foot, you have gone through more than 360°. Point to be made, reflections from water do not always add.
