"Use your mind to think about things, not of things" -David Allen
So you want to change your life, and it's a couple weeks into January and at this point you're starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all your different goals. People have told you to wake up at 5am, drink a green juice, and go for a run, but It's starting to feel like a lot of work to implement it all at once and you want something simple and someone to show you what to implement next. So in this video I'll show you 4 tiny habits that will change your life forever.

Habit #1 - create the illusion that you never stopped something you've already started Habit #2 - have a messy dashboard, use your brain to think ABOUT things not OF things, attach to-do things with time, empty your mind with tasks so it can be filled with ideas Habit #3 - time = reality, right down top 3 tasks you want to complete for that day Habit #4 - work ON your life, spend 5 hours a week working on something that matters to you

David Allen’s book “Getting Things Done “ is the best book ever and saved my sanity. I still apply the principles after 15 years in all aspects of my life. Its an easy read and easy to implement.

Love this, such important information/reminders. The first habit is what Hemingway would say is finishing in the middle of a sentence - that's how i remember that and it really works. I haven't been doing it so good reminder! I think the passion project one is what I need to implement most because I have a young family, full time job, house to manage etc and I don't spend much time on creative stuff, I don't make time and that does lead to drudgery and feeling really resentful of all the other things I have to do. I just used your backwards planning method to scope out planning a joint 40/50th birthday party for me and my partner this year and it was so fun, it feels really manageable and I'm excited to get started.

Watching a John Lennon documentary and then opened this (note the War is Over print behind her). Also happened to start using the 5-hour rule this past week without knowing there was a name for it. Either the algorithm is evolving to actually read my mind or synchronicity is a very real thing. 😊 Excellent video!

I’m very with this video you made. You are so beautiful today, or is it just that you’re closer so I can see you better? Sorry, I swear I don’t need glasses! How to juggle a lot of things, that’s exactly what I need! The attaching-tip sounds promising.

My takeaways - ▫️Habit 1(0:25) - "Create the illusion that you never stopped something you have already started" ❤ Do the task for a couple of minutes, the day before that you have actually to get done. ▫️ Habit 4(4:33) - Spend 5 hours per week on PASSION PROJECT and doing the things that matter to you.
