Your videos are immensely helpful. Knowing that I’m still technically a fairly new player with a few hundred hours makes me feel way better about my struggles

I just crossed over 900 hours in this game. I feel like im absolute trash at it. Seeing you say people will less than 2k are still newer players gave me a little bit of motivation not to drop it yet.

Is it possible to go pro or semi pro with less than 2k hours ive been watching you guides and just switched from console with 1500 hours and im now on mnk ive only peaked masters on console but id like some input on what steps i should take to try and go pro ive been playing for a month and ive just been playing ranked, now i dunno if i should be trying to play scrims or try building a team, or if i should just keep playing ranked. Any input or opinion would help tkx

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, I only really know how people become recognized in osu! and league of legends which are different in some sense. I think a way to be known is to upload clips to make people aware of your skill/mechanics alongside streaming and uploading the VODs so people can check you out and find out if you are consistently good or only hit clips from time to time. This also allows potential recruiters looking for players actually determine your level of skill. If you don't want to upload clips and become known by just social media presence, you need to be REALLY good to the point where you stand head and shoulders above everyone but I think this is way too hard and unlikely to be achievable if you want to get straight into main season ALGS teams. If you are fine with playing in lower tiers for some period, it could be worth it to recruit your own team from playing in soloq or just finding like-minded players who are LFG in the same spot as you. I have no idea whether there are communities for playing scrims and recruiting players like this, but as long as you find players you play well with you can hopefully enter the ALGS preseason qualifiers and get onto the main season. Since there aren't really any independent tournaments this is your best bet lol. Even if you fail, you can probably recognize other good players in the process and recruit them/join their team and maybe do better in the next run. Writing all this the TLDR for this paragraph is find good players, similar to you, and network if you want to be known by word of mouth.

@@wrthcr2w aside from this one part I could understand everything else. And it changes nothing about your content being very helpful. Thank you very much for your answer!

2k hours. ive been playing since day 1. i think your idea of new is incorrect. majority of players dont have 500. 2000 hrs will be top 1% of players. just saying.
