Playing around adjacent situations is important, you should always have a second card in your hand of decisions. If this play or position or attack doesn't work I go here, or I go here . 1v1 games like Quake teach you this pretty fast, plans fail and you need to immediately have a backup decision in your pocket. Running just to be safe is an indecision, not a decision. If you watch the solo queue trios world record he does back out of fights but he stays in a relative distance to play for information so he can keep making decisions. You have to stay just safe enough without compromising your ability to take initiative .

I really struggle to understand why people like playing no fill. I've played this game for almost 5 years now, with several breaks from here and there, and I find solo no filling to be the most grueling and tiring way to play this game. Like some of my least fun experience in gaming has been from solo no filling and I go for high rounds in zombies, some of the most boring repetitive stuff ever and I'd still rather do that than no fill

I do no fill trios because it’s fun for me to push my limits and I enjoy out maneuvering and aiming my opponents. Even if I have a bad string of games. I’m always in the mindset of picking out what I could’ve done better that could have led to better results, and that it’s a br so rng and luck are also factors.

It’s also make generating more impressive clips a tad bit easier but also more tedious

@@aedenful6200 what kind of characters do you play?

@@oldjebidiahbrown2454 usually just wraith but I’ll occasionally use octane, bang, and horizon.

@@aedenful6200 yeah, I don't play movement characters. That may explain the different perspectives. I main Catalyst and Wattson, and I know that they are great legends for 1v3-ing but you have to play alot of brain games with your enemies, which is fine but it gets a little exhausting when you have to outsmart a sweaty 3 stack instead of trying to outskill and then have to phase out of the fight and reevaluate the situation. Not meaning to make excuses for myself and I'm not trying to invalidate what you are saying and saying that at times you dont have to outsmart enemies but we play very different legends, and legends obviously play a huge role in one's ability to 1v3 and how they do so.
