I totally agree with Charlene’s commit. This is by far the best tutorial for a ribbon wreath. I have wanted to make a wreath like this but have been terrified trying to figure out how to follow the directions. I am a visual learner so watching this was the best for me. I don’t mind the talking while crafting as long as I can understand. You have done a great job without saying a word. Thank you so much. I will be making this wreath very shortly.

I tried this wreath today. They said to use your hand as a guide, which I did, but my hand is much smaller than the gentleman's in this video because I ended up with a lot of ribbon leftover and my loops when spread out didn't hide the wreath form in all places. I may try using the excess ribbon I have to make a row of loops on the inner wire of the wreath form. Otherwise, the wreath is easy to make, but keep in mind the wreath form you are using and your hand size in mind. My loops only measure about 2.5" to 3" so I'm sure you could easily make 3.5" to 4" loops. After I tightened the zip ties it was hard to separate my loops but that could be because they were so small and the burlap ribbon I used was, I think, thicker and stiffer than what was used here. I will definitely make this wreath again. Lessons learned. :-)

Excellent video, easy to follow. I just finished making mine and here's my thoughts: 1) A second pair of hands would be useful, especially when you first start to do the loops. The wreath frame is so light, it slides around a lot! 2) I wish I had used something rigid to create the loops as I went, instead of using the width of my hand like in the video. My loops were a wee bit inconsistent for the first couple but not too bad. However, something like a piece of cardboard would be good so the loops are the same. 3) I should have tried pulling the first couple of loops out (like you do at the end, after the tightening of the zip ties) to see if I liked the "length" of them. If I had, I would have made my loops a big larger. I am definitely doing this again - perhaps one for Easter/spring. Very easy and did not take very long at all. The wreath frames are so cheap to buy - I purchased two for $3.50 Cdn at Dollarama. Just wish the ribbon was not so expensive though!

I made this and it was super easy. I've never done anything like it before and am not a very crafty or handy person. I think it probably gets easier as you do more, too. Mine is a little uneven because I wasn't able to be consistent with the size of the ribbon loops. If I do another, I will watch that more carefully. Also the wreath frame I got was a bit bigger than 16" and my ribbon rolls were 8 yards, not 10, so mine didn't look as full. However the results were surprisingly pretty, in spite of my inexperience and the modifications I had to make. Thanks for this video!
