My grandmother (father’s side) made false allegations of neglect and called cps on my mother when I was a child because “she wanted her grand babies”. All because my mom fed us spaghetti o’s out of the can instead of heating them up and possibility burning me (I was less than 2 yrs old). She was abusive to her own kids so I am so glad my mom fought that and cps had a brain to realize she was crazy when they paid my mom a visit. I hated being around that woman the few memories I have, and I’m glad my mom cut off contact after that. I don’t even want to think about how I would have turned out if she got her way and got custody.

Pior to this episode, I'm not sure why or what Ilene did or didn't do to lose her parental rights, to her son. Now, that being said, I'm a pretty good "judge of character" and just by observing Ilene, on stage, she seems as though she's got herself together" and I hope that's the case.... that way, instead of Child Service's put him in a foster home, they'll award her sole custody, again!
