Love the different backdrops throughout this video. Fiverr is great for side hustling. I used to be a Level 2 Seller back in the day. Took some grit but it was a pretty solid side hustle.

How long could it possibly take to boost one's pricing up from the basic $5? And, is it really compulsory to begin with the least price which happens to be mostly $5 or it depends on the category of the gig or services you're offering or willing to offer?

It's best to start at $5. You'll be surprised how quickly demand for your service grows. You should be able to double your prices after a few months, if you get 5 star reviews. Most people who are top rated, or pro, were able to go from $5 to $100 (minimum), in about 8 months. FIVERR notices and quickly rewards sellers who can prove themselves quickly.

Fiverr has done nothing but give me problems trying to be a seller. I’m a podcaster and aspiring voice over artist and voice impressionist. They didn’t approve my seller profile which resulted them in banning me from selling anything, they didn’t give me any information as to why that happened. I reached out and all they said was “the decision is already made and can’t be changed.” I asked them why not give me a reason so I can correct what I’ve apparently done so wrong to get banned? They only give you one chance to set up a profile and if you so happen to accidentally mess up they will ban you from selling. So I continued on saying that it wasn’t right to do that not only to me but to others as well and not give a reason. I obviously want to be a part of the community and get my foot in the door doing what I’m good at for people and that it shouldn’t be up to them to ban me instantly for reasons I do not know, but up to the consumer to see if they even want to buy from me.

Dont deliver the final product add a watermark and only give them the product when they pay.

You create a 5 dollar gig, you wait for weeks or sometimes even months. Then you finally get a client who pays you 5, Fiverr takes its commission out of that 5 dollars. If the client doesnt leave a good review you get deranked. What a pain! Seriously - what a pain! That man selling icecream in the neighbourhood would be getting paid more and regularly as well. Upwork is no different. All these low paying clients come to these sites to take advantage of freelancers especially from the third world nations (I'm based in one of these countries btw). This looks like a Fiverr sponsored video.

Yes, and as an independent contractor you'll pay more on these earnings compared to a regular w-2. It's a different type of earnings form. A 1099 I think it is.
