One of Simon's favorites was a young woman who had been fighting cancer for years. Her attitude and outlook was absolutely beautiful. Simon connected with her on a huge level. She wrote the song she auditioned with. It was beautiful and she showed so much strength, love, acceptance and reality of what may come.. It did, Simon was devastated. Omg, I had no idea the fact that this was coming. Omg, im so surprised. They were singing Night Birds song because they fell in love with her to. How amazing is that. I was simply going to say that this song is going to remind him of her. I was typing. I didn't realize they were signing her actual somg. My word Night bird. You will always live on in our hearts and music. Holly moly, im crying..What a season Simon! Remarkable..

He’s was singing his heart out for his closest friend. First time I saw this when it was a new song. Listening to this young man sing about losing his best friend broke my heart. That song was beautiful and deep from his heart. I know his friend who died heard it in Heaven knew his friend cared but had no idea how much he was loved.
