Study for Oral Surgery exam CBSE during D1-D2 and take it some point during D2 year while content is very fresh!!

Yes Do research Now!! (If possible)...pick a topic or find out what the current OS residents/attending/faculty are working on now and join their research team..

@@MsReeses97 tbh it doesn't even have to be related to oral surgery it could just be dentistry related or even something in the health field. It'd be very difficult to get published by just helping out with a research project (by doing things like data entry etc.). I am also wondering how you're supposed to get a publication during school, or would involvement in research suffice?

Hi Dr. Darwin. Any advice for those who are interested in OMFS, but attend a dental school that utilizes pass/fail assessments? As you mentioned, the NBME CBSE score will be a determining factor among others variables (e.g. research, externships); however, I am concerned that many OMS programs will not consider you if your graduating institution is pass/fail. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
