Hello, I'm from Indonesia. Thank you for your tips and sharing. I’ve got diabetic in 2 years ago, right now I start to eat low carb and high carnivore and start to workout. hopefully I can reverse the diabetic. About the fasting insulin levels test, it's new for me. I will ask the doctor about it. Thank you for your information brother.

That's fantastic! There are a lot of variables, like age, types of food, etc, as well, but you're on the right track. The most important thing is knowing that there is a way out. The only exception is type-1 diabetes where the pancreas cannot produce sufficient insulin. But even then, you can lower the insulin requirements on a low carb diet. Keep going! 😃

As a prediabetic once you regain normal level do you eat burgers or fast food? What is the frequency?

Great question! For me, I may eat some carbs once a week at a get-together or during time with the family. I have a carb addiction and find abstinence to work best, but it's not practical, so what I do is switch to counting calories (I use the chronometer app) on a cheat day. So, for example, if I'm going out with the family, and know we're going out for burgers and fries that night, I'll make sure I get in my protein earlier in the day with just beef and leave the rest of my calories for the burger and fries later. I'll also go for a brisk ten-minute walk after the burger and fries to use up some of the glucose, minimizing the insulin spike. I try not to cheat two days in a row because it's a slippery slope. If I have something going on two days in a row, I'll eat clean just before the event so that I only eat very little when I'm there. Hope this helps! You've given me a great video topic! Thanks! 🙌

@@ankitverma5712 Absolutley! I hope what worked for me works for you as well. I’ll be doing more videos on this topic soon where I talk about seed oils playing a part in insulin resistance as well. The three causes of insulin resistance are, stress, inflammation, and hyperinsulinemia (which I mention in this video). Seed oils cause a lot of inflammation. Video coming soon. 🙌🏾 Take care and, like I have to talk myself everyday, “Want progress, not perfection.” Funny what you can learn from The Equalizer. 😅
