I think the first story of Wanda, William, and Noah is really quite beautiful. Noah was there to escort Wanda to the other side. ❤

Catholics believe "..the window has to be open so the soul can go..?" never heard that one, and I'm Catholic christian, lol

Native Americans believe this as well

I've seen a tv commercial for medication where a nurse closes a windows and says " not to night....not tonight". I'm not sure this is just a Catholic tradition.

@@sherw7635 It's Not a CAtholic tradition.. where did you hear that it Was??
@mynameisGailАй бұрын
@sscot720 Aye , I agree with you . I'm also a Christian ( Catholic ) lady, 55 years young and I've never heard of it either . The reason we have never heard of the practice is due to the fact it's NOT a catholic practice or tradition to leave a window open for 'the soul to leave" lol. That sort of thing( ie leaving a window open in the belief it allows the " soul to leave " ) sounds either new agey or a native American thing to me . Definitely not a Catholic practice or tradition though .

It's not a religious thing, it's more like a tradition. Mostly Europe and also much of the South in the US. I believe they think it originated in Denmark. Its still big in the UK as well.

My Mum who was a nurse for over 50 years used to always tell us , "Don't be scared of those who have passed on . There's nothing to fear from them" . She always added that it's the living that is more to be feared ,not the dead. Such truth in that statement.

I'm a Christian lady (a Catholic). That's not true that we Catholics believe a window should be left open for the " soul to go". It's certainly not a Catholic practice or tradition.

The first three stories are not scary, but strangely reassuring. However, I found the last story extremely odd, and quite unsettling. So much about it was either weird or just didn't make any sense. Sorry, I'm not implying it was made up or anything .....just that out of the four stories here, it creeped me out the most. I was lost with all this 'clan' talk. It sounded about 'cult-like'.
