Well just zone your whole city into a district,than install the "FORCE TO UPGRADE" Mod,than click the green arrow by the information when you click onto a district name,click it 6-10 times and BOOM your making 124 thousand an hour, conbine it with the realistic population mod and your only using high density than you shold be making 897 thousand an hour.

me_irl I don't place residential and industry next to each other, but I was building a city with a somewhat substantial amount of industry only to realize that there was literally no way for trucks to escape because there was no room left for bigger/more roads in that area. As a result, I ended up creating an elevated express lane that connected only to the industry and out of town, using a mod to change this elevated 2-lane road's speed limit to 130... trucks passing one another close enough to high-five zooming 130 mph across the sky. Not my proudest moment. I would be fired for that idea if I was a real planner. I am: The Guy That Treats His People Like Sardines.

I used to live in an apartment complex right next to a factory. Residential neighborhoods belong next to industrial neighborhoods, it cuts down on commute time. Only in this silly game is it deadly to live next to industry. The noobs are the developers for making industry so deadly. That said, I wouldn't put industry close to residential in this game because that leads to major problems. That is more a game mechanics issue than a life lesson issue.

Industry in game is incredibly dirty, and thus poses significant health risk due to mass pollution. Think of it more like China or San Francisco in the 70s where pollution is so bad you can't see for it. Barring the small amount of noise pollution, wood industry is pretty harmless and you could intersperse residences there.

I once made a city using elevated walkways that followed every road or so with exit ramps every couple of blocks. Traffic was extremely low. So many pedestrians. They really like pedestrian paths... perhaps because they don't have to stop at crossings.

Try keeping your mods and assets light, especially if you don't have 8-16 GB of RAM. Try putting your settings down to the lowest and if all doesn't work there's nothing around just getting a better PC. Another thing you could do is try this mod: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=812713438 And turn the percentage down to 90, 75 or even 50%. Sure your game will look like crap but it will run much smoother,

Or the guy who love train transport (like me :P) and place train station like metro station !!! Or the guy who played simcity for a long time and try Cities Skyline for the first time and don't know that you can buy another aera !!! Or (i love this type of guy), the road's detailer ; he try and retry to build corretly and interchange but 5 hours later he never finish !
